    Bro video was nice and clear but it's too fast for begginers. And we need a audio for better understanding. And give some important tips also. Thanks

      If You are beginner and need some instructions, You can share 3D model and anonymous drawing (it is important). I can prepare video with explanations and tips. Maybe I will also find some time to prepare audio...

    Although it was fast and no audio, I still learned a lot and enjoyed it as a beginner! I am dealing with programming a job no and I need to do some of what you did. I couldn't figure it out until I watched. Thanks!

      Same here. I got the idea or figured it out what/where to click :) But with audio we could learn more what the Master tries to explain.... THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS!

    Do you ever do any videos using a manual CMM and without CAD files?

    I recently have taken a position in Q.C. at a machine shop 2 weeks ago. After reading the entire PCDMIS Manual not really getting anywhere aside from manual alignments and stuff, I came across this video and finally was able to put the pieces of the puzzle together. THANK YOU!! My boss won't pay for me to take a class so i am literally training myself and you helped me get over a huge hurtle. Unfortunately, we don't having a scanning probe so i was wondering if you could possibly do the same video without the scan function and show how to hit it profiles by using points. My last hurdle is once i'm done with programming, how do i tell the machine where the part is on the table and begin running my program. Thanks abunch, you've been a great help!!

      I would think by touching off on the part that you dictate to be zero. Did you ever figure this out?
      And lucky you!!! I am looking to work at a machine shop just to get my feet with programming both CMM and MasterCam. And to create fixtures via SolidWorks.

      @@brandyhernandez61 yes, I did finally get it to work out. Still training myself and that is the reason why I am leaving and pursuing an advanced career in coding.

      @@twismfamily That's great for you.
      Unfortunately, for me. It was a bait and switch. I am getting paid the hourly wage I wanted , but I am not doing inspections or basic programming. I am submitting FAIs to a miltary company that is concentrated in aerospace..interesting, but not what I wanted.
      Good luck, in programming it pays well. I too would like to do programming one day but as a female in the manfacturing world I seem to always get clerical or technical work with blueprints or process control while the next male canidate easily gets the hands on job that I wanted...
      Hehehe, hence , why I am paying for the student version of pcdmis level 1 training and cert for myself. It's time to take matters into my own hands as well. 😉

      @Brandy Hernandez I joined Nucamp bootcamp 3 months ago. It has been a journey and a half. I graduate the program next week. Next month I'm taking a web development course and then on to FullStack development. You should look into it. I'm sorry about all the troubles you're having with the gender bs. You deserve better and I thing coding will serve you better, especially the pay scale, it dwarfs pcdmis programming. Check it out. Good luck 👍.

    I noticed the default drop down menu under your surface vector is always set to None in your Auto Features dialog box. Do you know if theres a difference between None and having it set to Theo?

    How do I bring the tetrahedron in view?

    • @measurein3d995
      @measurein3d995  Год назад +1

      I don't know what you mean by the tetrahedron, but maybe you mean trihedron. What version of PCDMIS do you have? I think the trihedron display in the graphic display window has been available in PCDMIS since version 2017 R1. You can adjust the trihedron by going to Edit | Graphic Display Window | Trihedron.
