When Taylor regained her memory, she did try to contact Ridge several times. She even found their bedroom in the palace, but when she opened the door, the guards grabbed her. Prince Omar strategically broke her down mentally....it was maniacal but it worked. She was straight up brainwashed....talking about Ridge and "his" children😂. If James/Brewster hadn't shown up (and told her about Jack's heart attack), she would still be in Morocco living her best fake life.👸

Yes but you are forgetting she had the opportunity to reveal herself to Ridge the day he was leaving. She went up to him and grabbed him and had every opportunity to take off her veil but she chose not to. She also was not forced to marry Omar, but she chose that as well.

Why didn’t she tell them that she called ridge and Omar cut the line! Taylor’s beauty was a curse because she attracted men who were obsessed with her looks! Blake and Omar! Obsession is NOT love! Love is when you want someone to be happy even if that person is not you!

This Jack and Steph scene of her insisting this is best because she shouldn’t have stayed away makes me mad that Taylor couldn’t just explain the whole story. If she was to tell them how her “husband” was actually holding her against her will and she couldn’t contact him and she had to lie to be able to come to La would have cleared all this up.

Taylor leaving a *forever* goodbye letter to her father after he nearly died because of her *death* SMH Tragic writing. Even the writers know they're destroying multiple characters across the canvas: Stephanie's ('as difficult as this is for me to say to you and it is difficult'). That was probably a *concession* to SF because there's no way Stephanie would accept Taylor's story at face value. The real Stephanie would've dragged Taylor to specialist because she'd call out a brain injury, Stockholm Syndrome etc. I'm surprised the writers didn't go that route. I can't imagine viewer feedback was positive about this new, vapid and ditzy character named 'Layla' because that who HT is playing now. Taylor did indeed leave us when she got on that plane a year ago.

I have to add that even if I know that Taylor is usually Ridge's charm, I'm sure that this particular line has another meaning. The luck he is talking about is his family and relationship with Brooke and someone is ringing at the door to break that happiness. That the feeling writers want the viewers to feel at this point.

Even Jack doesn't want to talk about Omar. As the writers didn't want to say Omar forced Taylor to stay at the palace, focusing only on Taylor's marriage with him. I know that it is her fault if she didn't reveal herself at the palace, but as I and many said, Taylor was left completely alone. Even after Stephanie found out! Stephanie loved her so much and instead of being happy because she is alive, she is disappointed and agrees to keep the secret. Nobody among the leading characters, including Ridge ( I hate the reveal scene) seem to care about Taylor.

Taylor had a thousand opportunities to reveal herself to Ridge but she never did, she first wanted to test the waters to understand if she still had a chance with him and when she also found her biggest ally against (Stephanie) she preferred to leave... she didn't do it for Ridge's good but only and exclusively for HER good !!!

Taylor had James in her corner. He cared about her enough to go find her…but Taylor rejected him and refused his help and wouldn’t return with him to LA. Taylor has no one because of her actions and her decision to stay away. Taylor is in this situation because of her behavior and actions. She rejected the advice of those who care about her…James and Jack.😒

For Taylor to truly give Ridge up, that would mean revealing herself to him and asking for a divorce so he could be free to marry Brooke for real this time and have his family with her.

If Brooke was smart, instead of just scheming, she would have known this and made Taylor definitively give up Ridge., and not just count on her "disappearing" forever.

I am more shocked that Connor did not emphasize that more. He accused Taylor of bigamy, but he should have counseled his client Brooke about the legal facts and how Brooke could never feel secure (FC shares) until they would have worked through that legal mess.
Even if Taylor had been on that plane, she could have returned with any other plane and the situation would still be the same.

@@TriniT21 In the past Connor seemed more levelheaded (eg. encouraged Taylor to quickly reveal herself, before Brooke would sign away the shares), but then he seemed to have drunk some of Taylor's and Brooke's cool aid (Taylor will be leaving *forever* ) and has taken on that same narrative, even if it doesn't make much sense if you consider the legalities.
I actually shed a tear when Stephanie read Taylor's letter. Didn't like it that she wasn't more supportive with Jack. Brooke saying that she thought she had lost Ridge forever, wasn't about his blindness, but because Taylor came back. She's so easy to read. Can't stand Omar. Him and Brooke would make the perfect couple....LOL...
I love to hear SF reading letters.. She gives it such feeling.

All of KKL's most annoying acting tics are on display in this episode. The baby-voice and jerky movements (8:07), the crazy eyes (9:28), the giggling throughout the scenes. She makes these already "low energy" scenes tedious to get through.

This is a little out-of-character for Stephanie. Not the best writing. The real Stephanie would have asked much more questions and understood Taylor was actually held captive most of the time, decided to let Ridge have family, and she never had sex with Omar.

Wait. So, Stephanie gets angry and tells Taylor to leave and when she does "leave", Stephanie gets angry again and says that if Taylor really loved Ridge she wouldn't leave. I love Taylor but I wish she would grow more of a backbone and really tell these people something. That aside, with both Brooke and then Stephanie who loved Taylor as if she were her own telling her over and over to go back and that she wasn't wanted there, no wonder the girl felt bullied into leaving. Then again that's where the backbone comes in and I'm glad she decided not to leave in the end.

How is it that Taylor’s plane(the one she was supposed to be on) left LAX during the party, that lasted maybe a couple of hours, and then land in Morocco within that timeframe. It’s at least a 12 hour flight; Or is it implied the scenes are not in real time, meaning that by the time Omar realizes Taylor didn’t get on the plane she had already revealed herself to Ridge hours ago?

No Iam very sorry she did go after him. Going by the house looking for him even Stephanie didn't want her in the way. She took the black dress he gave her and went to his home to show it off. She was critisizing Brooke at every chance. That's way the writers said in the later episodes that Ridge finally saw her for what she was. No one is perfect. Caroline was more down to earth and didn't treat Brooke the way Taylor did.

Wow oh wow!! Did she want Ridge to have a heart attack? After months of coming to him in a disguise, she chooses this way to reveal herself. And to now after months of being away, she very well knows the children were preparing and anticipating her return. Quite cruel and deliberate. I am of the opinion Ridge did have the right to know she was alive but this was handled all wrong and Taylor just looks worse and worse.

Taylor cares about others when it suits her needs. All this love and compassion for the orphans, and Brooke's children as well, is just part of Taylor's schtick. This is a woman that turned her back on her father, her brother, and the patients that depended on her. Making it all about Ridge shows just how selfish Taylor is, but in this instance, it was about so much more. Reality has hit her hard in the face, and her usual arrogance and self-entitlement have flown out the window. She no longer has the leg up; Ridge has moved on, and found happiness and fulfillment without Doc. And she knows her actions regarding Omar are going to raise some eyebrows. She is also unaware that Stephanie intercepted her letter telling Ridge about her infidelity, so that is adding to her insecurities. She had her chances to reveal herself to Ridge when he was at the palace, and she could have come home with James. This is one time Taylor's shiny little halo will not help her.

How to explain knowingly committing bigamy and letting Ridge do the same? And what about Omar? No one has given him a thought. The man saved Taylor's life and unfortunately for him, fell in love with her. He didn't force her to the alter, that was her choice, another bad decision in an effort to prove something to James. In reality, Omar has no claim on Taylor, just as Brooke has none on Ridge. But in the halls of decency and compassion, they both have earned the right to claim their prizes.

Ridge in that episode is stating what happy man he is, how lucky to have that wife and family, how well Brooke has replaced his wife Taylor, even when he had thought he could not survive Taylor's death. And just seconds later he gets even more lucky, the former wife turns up and he is back in the bachelor game.

Funny. None of them are eager to share details. Taylor didn't really tell Jack about what has happened in Casablanca (not about how she had been a captive, the mirror scheme...). Now we have Stephanie asking Jack if he knows anything about that other man - and Jack just replies that he doesn't want to discuss that with Stephanie, but that doesn't stop Stephanie. 😏
In that episode he already referred to Omar as a powerful and persuasive man that took advantage of Taylor, but what does Jack really know that he could share with Stephanie? Jack has never met or talked to Omar. The only thing Jack is sure and he can bring up is how perfect Taylor's marriage to Ridge had been and how well they have fitted.
Well after reading about what some people say about Brooke I believe they are completely off base. Brooke is not in the wrong. If you go back to the previous episodes its Taylor who went after Ridge trying to split him and Brooke by saying that Eric had to move into the appartment as the baby was having problems adjusting. If that isn't using them what is . Brooke always wanted to be with Ridge and she was upfront about that. She looked after Taylors children as if they were her own. She was going on with her life with James and Ridge interfered. She only kissed Grant although miss goody shoes kissed James more than once and also made love to him not telling Nothing to her husband. What's so pure about her. Not mentioning that she goes crazy when she doesn't get her own way . Why can't Brooke be madly in love with Ridge - only Taylor can. Who came along much later in the soap
I know we see the show differently, but Taylor never suggested Eric to move again in the pinky condo with Brooke. She suggested time to be with his child. And saying he went after him is not true. At first they dated and Brooke was happily married🥴. Then Taylor rejected Ridge's avances because he was "committed" to Brooke.
