TRULY great build my grandpa watched his shows all they time use to carry his pistol on his hip around his house when i was a kid i have it now was gifted to me by my dad and we had an old 68 -3 on the tree i drove to HS with a 460 in it 3/4 ton man those were great days.
I’m not lucky so I doubt I’ll win it, but it’s still a win regardless donating to the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. My house is covered in John Wayne memorabilia. Some antiques, some newer, my wife doesn’t complain so I buy any movies, hats, shirts, vests, etc.
A Beautiful old girl. Anyone that love classics would be proud to own it. If the give a way is not over by the time I get my new Bank card I will be entering. Even if I don't win It will be a cause I can get into after losing friends to cancer. Hats off to the DB Crew for what they have done here and continue doing
This truck is awesome man, I lost my step Dad and My 1st Dad both in the last few years from cancer and it's been terrible, I am sure it is for everyone in this boat. I also had a scumbag steal My 1979 Ford Ranger 4x4 short flair side, wood bed and I have never seen it again ( if you have just let me know, It was stolen in Idaho, It's burgundy with black interior factory 3' lift and stock everything, still had the dealer sticker in the drovers window, Oklahoma truck. Other Bummer thing is I can't afford to enter man. UUGH! but whoever does win this bad boy is going to feel that win in his soul i am sure. what an awesome thing you guys have done here!
I had a truck just like that. But I was launching my boat to go halibut fishing in Newport Bay Oregon and the emergency brake did not work and the transmission was slipping the last crank to get the boat on a trailer. The transmission slipped and into the bay it went all the way underwater Fourth of July weekend one sad day😢 it made the Newport News paper. It had the 390 engine so fast and sexy just like that truck with light blue. Someone is going to love it. PS. You guys are the best keep it up.
He passed from colon cancer… not stomach. It was agonizingly painful. He bravely included his tragic fact in his last film, “The Shootist.” If you haven’t seen it, please do. His friend, James Stewart, played his doctor and explained, in the film, how bad it was. My dad and I grew up with The Duke as a mainstay in our lives. More than fans, John Wayne (Marion Morrison) was ever present to us…
My dad passed away on Thursday to cancer and he was Scotland’s if not the UK’s biggest John Wayne fan, over the past 2 months we must have watched at least 26 of his movies back to back before he passed. All I can say is thank you to the Wayne family and also a big thank you to everyone at Sparks Motors we watch your programme religiously, thank you for creating memories for my dad myself and my son x
Sorry for your loss. My dad was also a huge John Wayne fan, I think because his dad looked like JW. My dad passed 2 days after last Christmas from liver failure. It doesnt get any easier, that’s a scar I hope will eventually hurt less. I talk to him everyday. God bless 🙏
danny your number one fan ...from pennsylvania, carbondale..i would love to win that truck i been a john wayne fan since im ten i got some of his best videos..like chisum..el dorado, big jake, back to bataan,..the elders...im praying GOD WILL LET ME WIN IT...THANK YOU ALL FOR JUST BEING A BUNCH OF GREAT GUYS...
Love how that turned out. John Wayne was the reason I wanted to be a cowboy in the movies and went to Hollywood and rode horses in movies. Love what you are doing.
Great job I have almost the same truck but the f100 ranger, identical on the outside minus the tool box bed. Would have been cool to source a 68 grill for it, direct swap. I love the 69 grill so I put it on mine which is a 72. All the grills can be swapped on them.
Love the older trucks, that truck is younger then me by 6 years. 8 year cancer survivor ❤❤. Wish I could help but my treatments wiped out my savings to the point where my mobile home is falling apart around me😢
I love the fact yous do this all the time I just wish you guys could do one where the rest of the other country's can get a chance to win either way I will all ways support yous and what yous do but try and get something together for the rest to win but at the end of the day who ever dose win that will be one happy but also one lucky person good luck guys keep it coming love it let's go.
Amazing work! Thank you for supporting a great cause. The build is flawless. If you don’t mind me asking, what 2colors did you use for the two tone paint job?
Amazing... you usually do an excellent job.. this time you outdid yourself. I followed the assembly of the vehicles.. you assembled 2 identical vehicles and made another completely new one. I have no words. Hope to come to the United States next year and visit you👍👌👏
Great job guy's truck looks great. Thanks for all you do with helping those in need. My ex-wife had breast cancer and went through a lot and is still dealing with the side effects. Thanks for the video stay safe and God bless you all.
I think the youth of today either forget or aren't aware of our national icons like John Wayne. Com'on folks, do what you can to donate to one of actual national great causes. Take time to watch one of the original John Wayne movie. Bring a younger person along to let them in on a bit of our nation's heritage. The money donated to the cause is without a doubt the best spent.
This was a strange video. I think there might have been 10 seconds of footage that wasn't in one of the other videos about this truck. Either way it's a nice truck for a good cause. Good job guys.
ATTENTION ATTENTION all you hotshot haulers these are the trucks you want to use for pulling best overall value period all 3 of the big car makers have made them they just keep giving parts well theres a world full of parts so
I love what you do. I have questions about how this was a gigantic setback, can you guys do a video on how you do your economics? I'd like to do a restore like this and am wondering what i am looking at when I do.
67 and 68 grills are not reproduced and thus very difficult to source. The grill they used is a 69 which is reproduced, and is the usual replacement grill used on 67-69 trucks. If they were to black out the vertical crossmembers on the 69 grill (which is how the 68 aluminum grills came from the factory), most would never notice the difference.
You can tell the difference between the two Trucks as soon as I saw the two Trucks first thing I saw immediately jumped out at me. The front Grills are different they don't match plus it's a HUGE DIFFERENCE between the two grills. If the GRILLS would have been matched looking identical a person would have had a hard time telling them apart without looking inside the Trucks that would really show you the difference between the two Trucks...

We could win a replica of a truck that John Wayne won. He won his 1968 F-250 in a bet. What A Legend!
Love how that turned out. John Wayne was the reason I wanted to be a cowboy in the movies and went to Hollywood and rode horses in movies. Love what you are doing.

its a ford, The hood hinges rot away and the hood flips up into the windshield. Had it happen twice. Fuck that Truck but fully support the foundation.
I love what you do. I have questions about how this was a gigantic setback, can you guys do a video on how you do your economics? I'd like to do a restore like this and am wondering what i am looking at when I do.
No you don't, I'm betting you're a troll@mess-ageON_MrSparksmotors
I had a 1967 Ford f150 costume
HC77 Box76 Seboyeta NM 87014
If y’all mentioned it I missed it, how many cubes is the v8? Is it a 360 or 390?
They don’t mention what the engine is, but you can see the 390 badges on the front fenders In the video (for didn’t put badges on fenders for 360’s).
Where’s Robbie last video no Robby. This video Robby Robby Robby Robby? So just a thanks Robby sorry we missed you last time.
I think you need to message Robby.
Why does my man look like “farva” from super troopers lol.
When will the truck giveaway come
Hey d I have a 1992 ford f250 bricknose from my grandpa and was wondering if you could restore it for me
@SPARKSMOTORS- ok what do should we talk on
Hello, how do I participate in the draws if I live in Argentina?
I was one mistaken for the dukes son at nots farm
who ended up winning this truck?
To me, it looks like the mismatch of the leading edge between the truck bed and the cab on the passenger side don't match.😮
if you find me worthy to win this truck I'd be proud to own it
@@MrSparksmotors_ I thank you
this sounds fishy ..I'll call the busness
Grills are different 🤷🏻♂️ 9:37
67 and 68 grills are not reproduced and thus very difficult to source. The grill they used is a 69 which is reproduced, and is the usual replacement grill used on 67-69 trucks. If they were to black out the vertical crossmembers on the 69 grill (which is how the 68 aluminum grills came from the factory), most would never notice the difference.
What do they mean click on the link below? I,m subscribed did not see a link...or not sure what they mean.
i bet bret at cerro gordo could use a water purifier
John Wayne has a Son in Houston. Recognized by his family? Idk
I've already been this boring!!!
Mirrors are wrong
🔥💕👍
So I bought a coin and it said 500 entries and on the Web site it says 10x entries till September 13 so do I have 5000 entries?
