based on the title this was not what I was expecting... It takes a lot for someone to open up about their deepest, darkest fears, so thank you for sharing. I've never heard of that TV show, but it really made me smile to see how happy you and your family were to go where they film and to meet a cast member.
I experienced the same feeling when my wife reached out to Michele when we were in Helen. We met the Moreman family and toured the OG Helen house. Matt's a cool guy but I must say, Michele is one of the nicest and most gracious people we have met. Great family!

Great to see you had a very good experience in Alberta and that it speaks to your passion. Looking forward to seeing OG growing with a new headquarter here in Calgary. Setting up in Calgary makes perfect logistic sense compared to the East. Much cheaper property prices, much lower taxes and simply much cheaper to run a business due to less red tape and less regulations especially for small businesses. Your dollar will simply go so much further and your business will grow faster because of reinvestment of the savings back into the business.
Matt, my father was the operational manager for the fork lift division of Toyota, and when he would do interviews he would walk out with the interviewe and look at their car and see if they Took care of their car decently and that was part of his process if he would hire the person, he was also able to get any Toyota Lexus product he wanted I asked him one day I said Pop why don’t you order a Lexus you deserve it his response was I don’t wanna show up to clients driving a car like that. He loved his Avalon he order one every two years same color diamond white pearl.

I've been a fan of yours for awhile. My girls love Heartland and we live about an hour south in Lethbridge. We have one of the most beautiful provinces in Canada. Where the prairies meet the Rockies.

My family, my life, my home is blessed by you and your passions and products. We have a Speed Queen TC5. Wife LOVES the Speed Queen! I could list a dozen things or more in my life through thoughts, attitudes, and products I've purchased from your store that are better because of you and this channel. I had my first vasovagal shock right before ingrown nail surgery a couple of years back. Ended up fainting and bruising my forehead from falling from the chair. The doc said she’ll have to put me on meds before I come for the other foot haha. Glad to see Canada’s project is finally starting
My mom watched it all. I watched a bunch of episodes with her when I was visiting. It's not that bad. :) Yes- that's definitely how I felt when I was there at OG. It's a cool feeling!

I can relate to so much of what you said in the intro - have a similar situation re a tv show I just have in the background constantly - it's almost like having background music I've watched it that much - but helps me unwind, and is conforting. I believe she lives in High River as well. Also if you come back with the family maybe do a day trip to Drumheller. Its got the dinosaur museum which is pretty cool.
Next time, come in July when it is the Calgary stampede, something to see. Also, before the you know what, there was a yearly car show in Calgary, usually around March. Next time they have it and you are settled, maybe an OG booth?

You came to Alberta at a bad time. Most of the province was on fire. But it is beautiful out here. I’m from London ont. But the mountains and the views are amazing. Lake Louise and morraine lake are beautiful also.
I hope you open a storefront, not a lot of great places to get this type of gear nearby and having a detailing place close would be awesome! I think you will do really well here.
What we will have is much better than a store front. Anyone that comes by will have full access to the warehouse getting toured around by our people there. It will be highly likely that they employees there will be enthusiasts just like we are here in FL.

Matt, have you looked into trying the carnivore diet? Beef, bacon, butter and eggs. Or lion diet. Jordan Peterson said it completely cured his anxiety problems. Also its crazy how it helped his daughter. Maybe a 30 day trail? Lots of videos on YT from different Drs. Just a suggestion, but man wouldn't it be cool if it got you back behind the wheel with no worries. A ribeye a day can't be too bad.

Yes, I did it for about 45 days. I felt great from and inflammation standpoint, but I struggled with energy in the hard workouts I like to do.
