  • Adobe just released it spring 2019 updates, and the content aware fill feature seems to be the thing everyone is talking about. So I decided I to take a look at it for myself. It really is an awesome tool that works much better than I was expecting, however there are a few situations that work better than others when trying to use the mask.

That's a pretty good addition that Adobe has made

Cool feature huh? It’ll be interesting to see how they developed it going forward

I'm running the newest version of AE (vs 17.5.1) and I had the same experience as you. Found it really didn't work all that great is most of the instances I wanted to actually use it. Seems like it can be used but I feel like it's still very limited, as to when it actually works well. Seems like Adobe still has some tweaking to do with this tool. For some reason, mine seems to really process slowly as well. Have seen a few videos where the Content Aware Fill rendering time is quite fast. Just hasn't been my experience to date. Usually takes more than a few minutes to render a relatively short clip. Thanks for the video though...

Thanks for this tutorial mate! However, it's not working for me: when I click in Generate content aware fill again it doesn't do the job... It analyzes it, it renders but nothing happens. I'm following your exact steps...
