The “We’re not deserters, we refuse to fall for Viren’s bullcrap” Army
Olatunde-Ade Mazibuko Almost Helms deep levels in that convenience. The whole army of monster soldiers battle kind of cheapens the morality of it all even if that was the intent.
@@toadlord8594 except even more bullshit like what was she doing there? If she had come for the express purpose of defending the dragon queen and prince then she would have had to, after the day the other human forces left for Xadia she would have to: raise an army, equip it and mobilize all forces within a few hours, and then follow Viren's army for a long ass time without getting spotted.
Or the alternative she just happened to be in Xadia with a small army without being horribly murdered by racist dragons and elves, and just decided for no reason to butcher a random army of 10,000 fire humans who she happened to see. At least in helms deep they explained it by having an army of 2,000 cavalry that was very intent on killing orcs roaming around Rohan looking for a fight that previous to the battle had been confirmed to be out there.
Either way, the entire finale was entire BULLSHIT to an otherwise very solid show that had me deeply invested with the characters, lore, and decisions that made a whole lot of sense up until now.
the greatest thing about this fandom is that no one cares what sexuality you are but if you enjoy the show you thirst over aaravos thats a rule. and its a shared struggle

Artivious Heard a little bit. In book 1 Claudia needed something from either Callum or Ezran to track them. She ended up using the braid Rayla lost but still. The last breath and hair was most likely for specificity rather than Sarai being magical
@@thatcrazynerdgirlproductio4481 maybe...though I had a theory after season 3. You know how humans aren't connected to a primal source? At first I didn't think much of it, but then I started to think it was a bit weird. I might be wrong, but I think humans did have magic at one point, but something blocked it.🤔🤔🤔 If I'm right, it would explain better how Callum was able to make a connection, and why some spells uses things from humans.

True, but I feel like some of it wasn't acting. Claudia is a big family person, so she was probably hurt when Soren stabbed the fake Viren. Even tho she knew that Viren was still alive and that it was an illusion. She was probably hurt by Soren's intentions.

8:00 the guards probably see Soren doing things involving magic for his father all of the time. They just assume this is another "secret" mission from Viren.
Oh I just thought those guards were idiots! But thinking about it, theres enough magic in this show where people think glowing hay is just normal

I'm pretty damn sure they knew that Ezran and Bait were in there. Those are Ezran's adoring bodyguards/babysitters, IIRC. They also threw down their weapons when Viren took over.

I don't know if anyone else got it but I believe Rayla's parents are still alive. Viren shakes a bag that sounds like there are coins inside when he talks about her parents (when they're trapped in the ice) He also states something like adding to his collection which makes me believe Viren turned Rayla's parents into coins like he did with Runaan.

Byfall and Rainbowhawk1993, I’ve always thought that the Rayla and Callium ship was better and had more chemistry to it than the Claudium ship because of the fact that Claudia tortures/kills animals and people for the hell of it, and she gets pleasure out of torturing/killing people and animals for the hell of it whereas Callium and Rayla have been side by side each other going through literal hell just to reunite the Dragon Prince with its mother, and to reunite all the Kingdoms as One Kingdom whereas Claudia’s plans is just to blindly follow orders from her father which is not how family relationships acts because the Batfamily and the families from the Walking Dead Telltale series acts more like an actual real family relationship than Claudia and her father acts.

A friend of mine thought Rayla falling for Callum in Season 2 was "sudden" but I could see her fondness growing for him over the course of that whole season....of course, with this Season we got the payoff.....but I also knew she was going to have to tell him to "shut up" and return his kiss with her own to affirm "yes, I want this too.", and press her body against his. I also liked when Rayla casually kisses Callum in front of Ezran and he's like "that's not part of the spell!" LOL.

Ezran has magic lungs you guys: not only did he hold his breath for over a minute to retrieve Zym's egg in Season 1, but he also was the last one to pass out on the Spire in Season 3.
Maybe it's the power of a jelly-tart-exclusive diet.
Its just naturally kids have less oxygen consumption climbing than adults. For the ice scene, im just gonna assume callums mom and amaya arent pure humans. It doesnt make sense that both her kids have powers unless she wasnt originally from the human realm

@Souvik ghorai rewatched all 3 seasons. Rayla and ibris both point out that humans have never performed magic without a primal stone. Its not that they have a hard time doing magic, they cant. The laws of the world need you to be connected to an arcanum.
Its even stated by the moon lady(ive alrdy forgotten her name lol) and shes probably one of the oldest elves around.
So ye like it or not, callum is the odd one out. Plus, only aaravos is the only known elf whose used magic outside of his arcanum and guess what callum has with him, the key of aaravos. Whether its the fact that the cube itself helped callum or its because of his mom's lineage is unknown at the moment however the fact that ezran also has special abilities indicates it the latter. That or harrow could also talk to animals but i doubt it.

First of all, that "understanding of the primal source" as you put it IS the arcanum. Think match to light a fire. Its the ignitor or the spark that lets them tap into the primal source.
Callum saying he understands the arcanum is like saying he knows its a match to light a fire. Doesnt mean he should have been able to use it. If you paid attention in s2 ep 9, the key of aaravos and the sky glyph light up when it was right next to him. That actually indicates he got the arcanum rather than just understanding it.
Or in simpler terms, rather than just understanding you need a match to light a fire and what it does or the mechanics of the match, he IS the match.
Secondly, callum and ezran have the same mother. Whys that important? Cause both of them have special abilities. The fact is callums the first human to use primal magic with a stone. If it was so easy for ppl to just use primal magic via the key of aaravos, someone else wouldve been able to do it b4 him and they wouldnt have had a reason to depend on dark magic.
Finally, its stated in the very first episode that the reason humans turned to dark magic was because they couldnt use primal magic. If they could have used it simply by understanding primal sources, they wouldnt have been banished from xadia.
Also unless you can find the source fer the hes only a human claim, i have no reason to believe you. No offence.

Look, im tired so heres my final thoughts aye. If you want to believe callums just a regular human then his mom should be a regular human as well and yet ezran has the ability to not only talk to animals but communicate telepathically with em. Harrow never showed any sort of ability so unless yer trying to imply ezran is some freak of nature, hes gotten it from either one of em.
And lastly, its kinda dumb to keep touting this real world equivalent and trying to apply it to a fictional world. We have the history presented to us in the story clear as day as to why the humans got driven out of xadia and why they turned to dark magic. This isnt some event that just happened recently, as far as story goes, its always been like that. If you wanna claim other humans can do that, go right ahead but until we see some other human using primal magic, callums the only one who can without any help.

@@SarcasticChorus The way they were looking at each other, and at the hay, it made me think that they knew something was up... they also wanted the kid out of the dungeons. The argument being given was: Ezran is a child and therefore unsuited to rule. Therefore he needs to not only be removed from power, but also thrown in a dungeon and treated like an adult criminal.

I wanted more development on Viren's character, as it stands now, he's just a generic dark mage when he could have been a naïve mage that truly believed in dark magic helping humanity.

The whole "Every single creature is bound to an Arcanum but you humans aren't, haha!" is like how humanity in the Souls universe is not bound to anything. The Gods have their Gwyn-y (?) powers, the Archdragons and their descendents are... you know - dragons; representing stuff not changing, etc. But humans? They really don't have anything, and the things they did have (the Dark Soul) was taken away from them, obscured by Gwyn's machinations. Yet, through it all, humans still do things. Humans have no clear goal, yet they strive. They build things, make things, write down things. Even when the Gods are gone by the events of the first Dark Souls, humans are still around in their bustling civilizations, while the Gods have fled. Basically, Dark Magic is humankind's strive to always find purpose, even if it's not there Innately. Refer to S2E2 around the 15 minute mark when Claudia basically sorta quotes Dark Souls lol.
Uh, and there's also in season 3 when Viren PRETTY MUCH turn the sun elf capital city thingy into something from Dark Souls III. And then he brands Kesef with the dark sign. No, really it's the dark sign.

@@ASHERUISE she has to have killed SOMETHING in order to bring back Viren. Unless you're saying she left his corpse to go find another animal to kill which would have taken a lot of time and there likely aren't a lot of deer hanging around next to a battlefield.
It makes more sense that she found someone, either alive or on the verge of death, and used them. There's no innocent here, reviving someone requires the death of something else and unless you think she left his corpse to start decaying or bloating, the only living things around her were the soldiers.
