Might be moving back cause of fear. Practice sparring more but light sparring first. You need to get use to seeing punches coming & get used to getting hit. You have to slip moving forward with the intent that u might get hit but it will position u to counter punch with a hook or uppercut getting inside
@@clouded2550 I know you asked him but I think I could help out. Personally I believe slipping comes from bending knees or legs. It’s not much of a spine thing. Keep bending your knees down deep when you want to slip. You know .
