Ueno54 I thought it was Arcanine. And i thought he took Charizards. Totally wrong! XD I didn't even know that there was an Arcanine!
CallMeFLG he got excited when arcanine spawned, which is a rare spawn on Cinnabar island. He took the charizard photo like 3 frames too soon then quit the level to collect the pics. but since the top of charizards head wasn't visible it didn't count.

First clip looks like he died from fall damage while grabbing the ledge causing the game to soft lock. Fifth I have no idea, never played animal crossing. And for the sixteenth it looks like when he landed his velocity went to the left and it launched him, not sure what caused it though.
in the animal crossing one, im assuming every time you rejoin the area theres a chance that the mountain beetle will spawn on one of the trees (it did on the top left)
I'm assuming the animal crossing one is just rng as to whether the beetle loads, and then it loads after he say something funny

You need to explain each clip. I speed run lots of games and I have no idea what's going on in most of these.
Howard Stern In LaurieDeBeaver's clip, she skipped a boss, which didn't put her in a post-boss state, and then didn't go in the cutscene on the next screen, so she entered the previous screen without removing the invisible wall
Eh, it's pretty straight forward tbh. Especially when some of the streamers literally explain in the clip.
I don't speedrun any games and I understood all of them. Which ones did you have trouble with?

It would be nice if the audio volume of these highlights could be averaged out. It's rather annoying to change your volume every few seconds because each person's recording equipment is different from the last one.

remember, ANYTHING in a speedrun comes down to time, it is faster, normally mario would crash into the wall at the end of the slide, you prevent that by doing a little jump, but he/she in this video did it a bit too early, there's also moments (don't remember exactly) when runners would do some walljumps there, not in a 16 star run though.
GAMERKAZUYA But the penguin does a really slow turn after it arrives at the end, so that wouldn't really matter, right? :P

What happened in the poke snap clip?
He didn't get a good enough picture for Oak to recognize there was a Pokemon (in this case, Arcanine) in there. If that's not it, then the picture he got of Arcanine wasn't worth a good enough score.

I actually got a really good time in that very IL attempt haha. The villain losing his sense of gravity didn't waste any time, in fact if I can replicate that trick and make his railcar land upright behind me then he might push Bond's railcar and save time.
