I’m from Texas and I 100% support Abbot on this. At no point has the Supreme Court stated it’s unlawful. Only lawful for federal agents to remove it. Notice the subtle difference. We’re a sovereign state and have the right to defend our border regardless of federal rulings. It’s in the constitution of your state. Do your research. Don’t like it. Go ahead and vote. Depends on what you mean by "the rest of us." Democratic states keeping abortion legal is still consistent with Dobbs. If you mean "citizens in Republican states," then no because the laws of those states are still controlling in their situation unless they leave the state in question.

As a texas resident, im glad i married a military man and got my butt out of there. Abbott has ruined that state. It should be said that texas national guard has deployed without regular pay because of abbotts decision. Hope they eventually tell abbott to go to hell and go back home.
