That looked super fun...very capable vehicle
You're getting pretty good at driving these things Andre, keep it up.
Awesome video Andre!!! Things Untouchable!!!! Not sure what else to say....
Wow. I've never come across a side by side that could follow my truck through the rocks and technical trails, but this bad boy has some serious clearance and flex, I don't think it would have a problem. Can-Am for the win.
looked fun, great job on the camera also.
As someone who flipped that same model Canam twice last weekend, that thing is tough and safe as hell
Keep bringing the fun guys!!!
Tire pressure looked extremely high. You can see it in the profile and the way it deflected from small rocks. Try letting air down to about 15 psi. Comfort and traction should be greatly improved.
That MX3 is one beast! Looks like I’m gonna get myself a new toy...
That thing is a purpose built beast. So jealous I don't have your job Andre. Think it needs a much more thorough review so just ship that beauty over here to CA and I will be happy to run it around my local desert here for you. Lol
That's why can am makes the best.
Boy that all around independent suspension sure works well !!
I would have expected nothing less than ez pz lemon squeezey from that machine on that terrain. Fun to see it being done though. Now drag race it against the TRX. It has dragged everything else. lol
That is one sweet ride.
Amazing vehicle great for everything from fast desert runs to rock crawling.
That X3 is a monster!
Do the make this in a two seater or is it only available in this limousine version.
Two seater is available
Keep it up 👍
You know Andre is a pro in they way he rattled that name off like it was nothing.
Looking fordward to get one soon! With that tires and i'll make the back get painted in orange...
I’ve had a XDS and now a XRC. Love it, but after watching many videos I’m convinced the 4 seaters climb better than 2. If I’m wrong, tell me.
I love that can am!
Good lord that thing is capable. What size trailer do you need to get it to the trail?
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏.
Thank you for sharing
So i am taking the x x maverick xx triple x xflex ... How many x in its name😂😂😂😂
Mine is a can am maverick x3 xmr turbo r
Do you need to do anything to the suspension in order to install 34 inch tires?
Does anyone know?
Nice!!
At 72" wide, it just disqualified itself in MANY trails.
There's a XDS Turbo RR that's 64" wide with 195 hp
Montgomery we have a can am ,six passenger four door, all weather machine
The can am xs is a great looking peace of work. I'm putting it on my list.👍
@@69runner53 what model allows for a 6 seater?
@@Jayy1K. the defender is their 6 seater via 2 bench type seats
SOME trails, if you’re riding state/federal land that requires it. Like my father in law, so dramatic about the 50 rule 😂
Did you guys reclutch for the bigger tires? Makes a huge difference.
Reclutch? Tf is THAT?
@@Gorealaracer38 the bigger tires change the gearing. You can add and remove weight on the primary clutch to allow the car to excellerate better.
@@jacobforeman9916 thanks, but i was referring to the term 're-clutching' ,ive never heard that in 30yrs......😂.I appreciate it though .
No but they probably redouched
Ok, I'll say what we all are thinking. Andre has the best job !!!!
Then just go do it, don't envy someone go be them
I know the video alway looks easy, but it looks like you we’re driving on pretty easy terrain.
Awesome
Just to answer the question on the title of the video, “can anything stop it?” Yes, time. Let’s see how reliable it is in 5 years. These things cost as much as a car, but are not built to the same durability standards.
Durability standards? Well ones for going on a smooth road and the other is banging of the limiter, climbing rocks, going through mud, and so on.
well, if u have enough money to purchase it in the first place then u should have enough to repair and replace it. It’s a toy, after all.
@@devonclow8957 I take it you’ve never been on a remote trail, miles from cell service or civilization. Reliability does matter. Can’t have your engine blow or transmission crap out in BFE.
@@scottydoesntknow254 My point is I’ve done all those things with my Honda Pioneer 1000 for years without any mechanical trouble. I know the can am won’t take that abuse over time.
People don't buy these toys with reliability in mind. Someone more concerned with reliability would buy a proven old 4x4 and soup it up. These side by sides will go at least five years and if the consumer wants to spend the money they can go ahead.
can-am used Visco-Lok differentials like those used by Jeep. I don't think SxS's are using ABS??
Can Am uses the Visco-Lok on there lower level mode machines. Smart-lock is used on there higher level ones. Both of them are not true lockers.
Fun machine
Its between this and the rzr for the best machine, the rzr means you fluck a switch for suspension. But this just looks that bit better.
Although... wet legs.
Can please tell me the name of the trail you are riding on
That thing is as long as my dads old Buick!
Yes, that belt transmission will stop it. Boom 💥
Is this the x3 with the smart shocks or no?
No. Smart shocks self adjust I believe.
An people say CVTs and fully independent suspensions aren't good for off-roading...
How many X's in that name?? lol
Lmao!!!! I have a 2020 can am maverick X3 X RS Turbo RR. I just recently memorized the entire name.
all of them
That thing sounds like a chainsaw
I never hear a three cylinder turbocharged four-stroke chainsaw. Lol
Definitely a good performer. What I don't understand is why do the manufacturers still make them sound like motorcycles? Why not put a normal automotive exhaust on it, they are so annoying when you're out off-roading around these type of vehicles. Watch any RUclips video filming any four-wheel drive vehicle and in the background you'll see one of these driving around all you can hear in the audio is their loud exhaust.
I wouldn't exactly call that tough terrain by any means for this machines
Capable, yes. Unstoppable? Hmmm. Watch some of Matt's Offroad Recovery videos and see just how stoppable they are ....
Suspension needs to be retuned with those new tires, damping looks way off.
luckily it’s as easy as turning a dial a few clicks out!
How much is it? I want one.
I got the 2020 can am maverick x3 x rs turbo rr for 29k out the door. That’s the two door.
I would rather you had slowed down during the rock crawl.
Articulation?
THing lifted a wheel on the dirt road before you even hit the razor lol
the suspension needed some serious re-tuning with the bigger tires.
Suspension is fully adjustable and it has crazy articulation with swaybars disconnected. In video swaybars are connected. Even when connected it has amazing articulation it might seem not so amazing because of lifted wheel at one point but comparing to other vehicles in general its huge even most flexy rigs lift sometimes. ruclips.net/video/iN18zA2r6hw/видео.html here at 2.45 has amazing articulation im not sure about rear swaybar its connected i think.
I can't help but wonder how those axles and U Joints hold up with those 34 inch tires added.,.. having said that, I am impressed
They were never intended to hold up to 34" tires. I watch Matt's Offroad Towing videos and he recovers a lot of these vehicles with broken suspension parts on stock wheels and tires.
If you are not rock bouncing it or burying in thick mud they hold up pretty well with a 34" tire. Yes components will wear faster than the light weight tires that come stock but that where upgrade addiction come into play...lol most people find that a 32" tire is the perfect balance
Speed UTV will be out soon... it's 300hp from the factory, it has 25" of suspension travel while maintaining decent ground clearance bottomed out (the Can Am basically hits its chassis on the ground), and it's frame isn't a cheap piece of junk people spend thousands of dollars on to reinforce... In fact, shock therapy did a video about the X3 frame and how often they fail and how it saves money by buying a $10k Geisser frame for it. Can Am and Polaris literally cut every corner they could with these machines. The weaker 64" models are fine because they won't be put under the same stress.
The weaker 64"? Dude it comes RR, the 64" DS RR its the fastest and lightest.
@@mandytuning I said the weaker 64” models, not all 64” models are weaker.
Nice machine for sure! But the X3 come on 30 inches tires from the factory. Nobody in the real world will drive 34 inches tires on a stock set up it's sort of biased.
I’m all for Offroad but these assholes they go out and rip off the forest just wait to the forest service ranger pulls you over starts hitting you a whole bunch of tickets
Dude air down the tires
Can I have your can am please
