Incredibly helpful man. I have a dealer about 3 miles away from me here in Lake Havasu city, Az. and I am seriously considering getting one of these. Very very good job. Totally appreciate it.
The Maverick X3 feels more comfortable when I sit in it, but when I am flying through the woods I feel much better about my seating position in a RZR then the X3. Same is true for climbing hills. If I was doing a lot of dune or dessert riding I would probably get a X3. All other types of riding give me the versatility of the RZR turbo S and its beefed up components you didn’t mention, like the superior front dif.
These big things are ruining good ATV trails. I went to a popular place in Kentucky I haven't been in years and the change was shocking! Massive wide ruts everywhere and the old ATV trails were practically destroyed.

I know this is a old post but to compare the pioneer to the turbo S is a joke. It's apple's and oranges. The pioneer is great for cruising around or farming and hunting but the S is pure sport. And I've had my turbo S almost a year now and not one issue, not even a belt.

The slowest 1000cc machine with flawed suspension. Comparing a TS with a yxz hahaha. You will be the one looking when everyone else passes you in your cool "looking" machine.
You dont really know how to use the suspension. Sport mode is dynamic which means the suspension adjusts on it's own according to the bumps speed and bunch of other factors. When you go slower and need traction you put it in comfort mode and if you are driving on flat road at higher speed you want to set it to firm.
Nice Mechanix Wear gloves...love the m-pacts. Great review. I'm in the market for a new 4 seater and I'm between this and the X3 max. Gotta say this ticks all the boxes.
Ok, so it's a 4 seater but it's max carry capacity is what? Granted, based on what you showed about the rear seats you're basically only putting kids or tiny people back there. But you get 2 good old boys up front (like me or yourself) and a couple smaller folks, like my son whose about a buck and a half in the back and you're right around something like 800lbs! I like the right command it looks pretty cool . On polaris.com they have there is one model that comes standard with the ride command. that I can afford it is the 2020 900 Fox Edition.
Now Polaris needs to incorporate the turbo mill and maybe a couple more inches of suspension travel into the General. Don't get me wrong, I love my General rc, and the fact that she's work ready...but her fun side could use just a bit of "massaged" a bit.
Waiting for my new 2021 turbo s dynamix 2 seater. Im really excited about the gps. Night rides in the dunes has been marked with attempts to find my way back to my staging area. Ive tried phone apps and they were ok. Lost a handheld gps on the first use of it... ??? To this day I cant figure out where we could have lost it. Litterally at our first stop we couldn't even find it to make sure it was tracking! So... I cant wait to explore new places and feel secure i can find my way back.
@@TheCutFather i got the polaris turbo s. Loved it and then sold it to a guy who offered me $2,000 cash more than I had into it. It didn't have 400 miles on it. I went and bought a dodge challenger hemi. When I think about off roading im thinking big thumper 4 stroke bike for playing in the desert. The sxs was fun but I poured over the vehicle use maps to figure out where I could go. The bike can use every off road trail and road thats legal for motorized vehicles. At a fraction of the price tag.... so thats where im at. I got out from under that payment at the right time. I had a 2021 aluminum cargo pro trailer that my local dealer bought from me so I also got that payment off my back.
But ANYTHING other than a Polaris. Trust me, with 20 plus years working in the off-road industry they’re nowhere near as dependable as they should be being they out sell all other utvs. But I do see people are waking up on Polaris and their subpar products
I destroyed 2 Polaris ATVs back in late 90s. Both major gearbox failures. Complete Junk. So I buy a 400EX Honda and ride it for 13 years with ZERO problems. 2 years ago I decided to buy a new ATV and I'm older now and wanted a easy riding machine. I thought Polaris had to come a long way since my time in the 90s with them. Bought a new Sportsman 570. Got it home and on day 1 it popped, clanked, and made weird noises like a old Model T Ford. I dont recall any Hondas, Kawasaki I've rode making all that racket. I sold it last year because I just knew there was no way that thing would hold up very long. They are the same clunky machines they were 20 years ago.
That funny because I have a 1998 Polaris 400 sport that has never had any work done to it and it can sit for a year and still starts right up. 21 years old. And I have the Turbo S also. Had it almost a year with not one issue not even a belt.
i actually hate that it has no hitch, the XP1K dosnt either which is what im getting and no one wants to pull a trailer with these, but you can get hitches with a big Dring on them for pulling you or other people, or what i want a tiger tail, which goes in your receiver.
Their is no comparison to the other ones. These S and X3 are in a class by them selves. The Honda, Yamaha and Artic cat compete with each other but don't come close to the S or X3.
You said you can’t hit things at speed in “firm” That’s exactly what firm is for, to hit high speed whoops and bumps and jumps. The whole point of firm is to be able to run it harder and faster and hit things at speed.

You want suspension soft for slow stuff and you want your suspension firm for high-speed so it gets rid of body roll, high speed turns and G outs!!!
Dan Matz I was just going to say the same thing.
while rock crawling , the suspension set in a softer mode creates more articulation / traction?
