Man thanks for the video and am looking now to try and figure what wheels to upgrade to on my X3 Max RR and mainly do desert and trails.Makes sense to stay with a 32” but man those 35’s look mean and would look amazing on the 4 seater Max
Have you had any issues with snapping axles? I run 33” on my XRS turbo rr. Machine handles tires fine with no clutch mods. But I did snap a front axle when I got hung up in a rock section. Just wondering if you had that experience or if stock axles are just trash?
Just put a set of 32" tires on my 17 x3 and if you turn more than 1/2 way they hit all up the fire wall. Don't see how you could use 32"-35" without running so stiff the suspension can't move, or aftermarket suspension?
@@jbw5485 I started out shopping for a set of forward offset A arms, can't find any, so I'm considering two options, make my own offset a-arms, or refab a couple of the frame tubes, which would mean making new fire wall tin as well. If you have a stock looking machine that you want to keep the plastic fenders etc. you probably need to find or make forward a arms or some people are just cranking up there suspension or a body lift kit. I want to have max suspension travel and still keep it as low as possible for side hill travel.

Thanks for doing this Jon!

You didn't say which tire you would choose if your ride was going to consist of trails and mud.
Is it even a true 35? I have yet to ever see one. I'm thinking tires like Kyle used at KOH were a true 35 or even a 37.
These 35's are pretty tall
How’s the clutching handle the 35? Still feel like the x3 low gearing is enough for the rocks with the 35?
Clutching is fine for the rocks with 35-inch
If I go 32 x 15. Would my clutch wear out faster ? Any upgrades I will need to do ?
Nice video, very imformative. Thanks. Question; what shock cover do you use?
We don’t use shock covers
brand of the rims please?
Are you running stock axels? If yes any problem.
We have run stock axles and SuperATV Rhino 2.0 without any issues
@@UTVGuide101 thanks
But we know others break axles. Mostly driver caused 😂
What offset wheel on the 35s?
How much are those tires
How far did you go on the Rubicon on your day trip? And from which side? Going next week.
Buck Island from Loon Lake
Did you have to do anything to your X.3 to be able to put on 35 inch tires?
Nope
Did you run it with Phil NoLimit ?
Looking nice ride btw…
We have gone on several rides with Phil
Is the drivetrain overall the same between a Maverick X3 RC and a XMR? Is low gear the same?
Not 100% but we believe so
Thanks
Maverick sport xmr 10% lower than sport xrc... X3 probably same...

His is a 72 inch. Yours must be 64 inch like mine.
What did you end up doing to fix the rubbing?

@@jbw5485 mine is a 64" with 2" spacers.
Dusty E so you were able to get away with the 33’s with 2 inch spacers? Think you’d be good with all stock suspension with 32’s?
Did you upgrade the suspension?
Yes, Shock Therapy upgraded the springs, valving and added FOX iQS
@@UTVGuide101 so how much is that?
Kruger Erik ruclips.net/video/2IY7LpYZapo/видео.html
Kruger Erik You’ll have to check in with Shock Therapy to get all the details on price
Umm
Way to much psi in the rocks!
