Love the video Jon. Great seeing these long wheel base vehicles being as capable as the two seaters. Love the overland style setup. Looked like a nice easy going laid back kinda trip. Great job bud.
Did you have any YXZ's on this trip? Have you been around any YXZ's at all? Do you have an opinion of them? This is my first watch of your channel. I apologize if my inquiry is premature. UTV's as Jeeps is where I'm at too. Love the video.
Cool video, thanks. Very capable on that trail. Have you done a front gusset kit? And how necessary do you think it is on these? Looking into going down the rabbit hole with an X3 X RS Max. Thanks.
@@UTVGuide101 don't know how you guys do it, awesome cars, rigs and trailers. I'm just trying to be able to afford the car, have the rest (not as nice but will definitely haul the car). Lots have changed in the game since my old 900 4.
I got same rig and already 10k more into it. The stock is woefully weak... the A arm and Radius especially. Nice video editing. I too make vids of canam but mostly dirt bikes.
I’ve read a lot of people seem to like the 4 seaters due to the stability and cushier ride compared to the shorter wheelbase 2 seater (at least in the West/Southwest and not rock crawling). I’m in the Southwest so I’d be doing a lot of dunes/desert/open area without much real rock crawling. Would you recommend a 4 seater for that rather than a 2 seater?
Nice.. I like your set up and your videos. I live in Reno iv done the Rubicon many times in jeeps. I was thinking of setting up my Max to handle the Con. 👍
Does your assault industries tire carrier fit your full size 35” spare tire? I run 33” RT320 tires on my XRS turbo RR and haven’t found any spare tire carrier option unless I go custom work
Not many people would think a 4 seat Max would do so well on this trail and that is why we documented it. And instead of answering lots of questions, we try and tell you what products are on the vehicle. Sorry if that sounds like too much of an advertisement too you.
Incredible! Testament to your driving skills! Love seeing these trip type videos!!!

Now that’s a hell of a trip!!!!
We are spoiled because it is so close. But we rarely camp on the trail so this was a big trip for us.

That’s awesome. How would a two seater RC do as a beginner ?
Two seater is a better crawler for the Rubicon

UTV Guide thank you
I am curious on what the ground clearance did when you changed the tire size????
How much money to modify it like yours?
We did it piecemeal so it was easier to swallow. haven't added it all up.
Best sport or hobby to invest any buck you can.
Stock clutch?
Matt Lake Yes completely stock clutch and transmission except for the Trinity CVT belt.
Thats mean, the stock cvt set up woks properly. Good to know.

They did great. Follow Rugged Radios on social for more details.

Those are 35” System 3 Off-Road XCR350 tires
