Thank you so much for these videos. I’m 40 years old and grew up during the 90’s and truly appreciate all of these trips back to a time that was a bit much simpler. I appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into all of these
Same for me, well said!
Thanks for the support! Very kind.
Same here Sir, I miss the 90’s NBA
Same as well. I'm 40 and lived thru the 90's NBA era and remember it well.
Same.
"Look at me, Kareem! LOOK AT ME!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Triangle schmiangle, give me the ball! 😂😂😂😂
You gotta love Shaq, gentle giant one second, goofing off with Chuck, making us laugh till we cry, then he steps on a basketball court, and boom now he's a locomotive, simultaneously becoming the unstoppable force and the immovable object
Shaq is such a beast of a man but seems so humble and down to earth.
another great video .
I remember watching this live - it was broadcasted on KCAL 9 with Chick Hearn and Stu Lantz and Shaq was dominant as hell that year. Nobody could guard him 1 on 1 and there won't be anyone else like him in the future
Chick was awesome to listen too. He had so many cheesy phrases it was hilarious. My favorite was when he yelled "the mustard is off the hotdog". True great on commentary
Mainly because the down low dominate big man is almost extinct in the NBA.
You and Joseph Vincent do amazing documentary style stuff. Thanks for your time, I enjoy your work
Thank you for another great video bro. I love your edits with bare minimum talking. Straight to the point with well put together videos. I would love to see more shaq videos to shut these young dudes up. People dont realize how dominate shaq was with VIDEOOOOOS OF EVIDENCE to back it up unlike wilt as what others yell out whenever i watch these videos. .
Shaq is a fool, I love him so much 😂❤
Thanks...This is a really great video...
I find it truly amazing that you have some guys/girls that can totally dominate in what they are doing you just have to stand in awe. Like wow
If you don't love Shaq... you're not American!
best video you've done. awesome!
Thank You, this was awesome! Shaq cracks me up...."LOOK AT ME KAREEM, LOOK AT MEEEE! 🤣 11:49
SHAQ was Dominate to begin with, but Angry SHAQ was Unstoppable!
haha I loved editing that part
nick for as long as you are able to, you have an obligation to share ur skills nd talents w us. These r legit mini documentaries, i’m a die hard NBA fan, nd i use to watch ur rebuilds. Much love bro ✌️💯
Thanks so much, really appreciate that!
Bow down! What an epic Legend. Love that dude.
My man Shaq, one of the best centers ever to play the game of basketball period.
Was at that game. His birthday is a day before mine and they always had home games that week, yes clips, but Staples. Was a great time to be a real Lakers fan.
Shaq is the man when I first saw him taking down rims as a kid I was like 😮 and he has a basketball card come out in a box of cereal I just had to have it still have it to this day never been touched would never sell it but definitely the best big man in my opinion
Shaq with that "Look at me, I am the captain now" energy.
Good storytelling
Prime Shaq was unstoppable. Great vid. Thanks for dropping it on YT for all to see.
Man I really enjoyed the way you edited this. It was everything I didn't know I wanted. Thanks for your production
Seems like a fun guy to hang with
Shaq is my favorite athlete from any sport and I was at this game. Great night. He had like 32 at half.
Shaq one of the greatest ever love ❤️ championship
He may be one of the most ferocious nice guys you'll ever meet.
Well Free throws
Best big
Would double like if i could! Fantastic job
I hated Shaq when he was beating up my Trailblazers, but I love him now. What a dominant player. He's also a cool guy.
5:40 - 6:15 priceless 😄
Yo!!! When he missed that dunk and just hung on the rim, grabbed the ball and put it back in. What an animal
Triangle schmiangle lmao
I love shaq. That it's all!
'Triangle shmiangle' killed me. Did all this with no effort to ready himself before the game.... If this guy had actually tried who knows how dominant he'd be.
I love exactly 3 NBA players. Larry Bird, John Stockton, Shaquille O'Neal!
that was beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed
Prime Shaq is unstoppable.
Wow I’ve heard this story so many times but never the part about the Clippers not getting him the extra tickets lmao
Kobe's mistake was saying Shaq was out of shape and didn't work hard enough.
He should have said was that Shaq could not get in shape. 10 rings with that duo.
Shaq in my starting 5
Kobe said that guys back off Shaq cuz they are afraid. Damn right they should be scared. As Horry said, Shaq can end up hurting or killing someone on the floor because of his sheer size and strength.
3:00 We learn Shaq he had 61 points on his Birthday 03/06/2000. This WAS the NBA record for most points without a 3pt bucket since it was introduced in 1980. 2 Days ago on 12/13/23 Giannis breaks Shaq's record with 64 Points w/o a 3pt Bucket. These 2 men are the most dominant big men since the 3pt shot was introduced and why Shaq years ago gave Giannis his Superman Title. 2 Legends and alongside Wilt and Kareem are the most dominant big men the NBA has ever seen.
W vid
Ooh big man had them eyes like a pit bull before the game.
Shaq, Kobe and the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the (12-48) Los Angeles Clippers!
Cue the domination music.
Uncle Jerome needs a podcast
Players today don’t want that smoke like they did back then
“Look at me Kareem!” 😂😂😂
I didn’t like Shaq back then but I love that dude now. He’s a great guy.
Both him and Kobe. With more maturity they actually both turned out to be pretty decent people
👍💪💯💨
That was my gift to Shaq. It was his birthday, so that's why I let him score 61! LMAO...
Sky hook?🤣
💚💚💚💚💚
It's cool and all that he played basketball but what could Shaq have been if he boxed or wrestled or some sort of combat sport. I really wish we could have seen that.
basically if he had this mental every game, he would be the goat
In the same way hot girls don't have the opportunity to develop any personality, giant dudes never get enough chips on their shoulders to turn into true psychos
I remember when we could play together.
What icon did he destroy?
Imagine Shaq just getting madder and madder for no good reason other than to make another grown man look at you 😂
“Maybe the most physically dominating man to ever play the game…..”
No, that’d be Wilt Chamberlain.
Key word: seen
Barbeque Chicken Alert!
Giannis Broke this Shaq Record 2 days ago for points w/o a 3pt Bucket by scoring 64 Points in another dramatic game. Giannis scored 3 more points than Shaq and played 8 less minutes to do it. 2 most dominant players in the Modern Era.
I don't think I watched that game. Holy crap, I wish I had. I'm surprised that Shaq said that he wasn't even aware that Kareem was on the coaching staff of the Clippers. Was that how little Shaq cared about opposing teams?
imagine being that big but yet proportionate. the athleticism of a guard. like playing a bear
I'm not saying he could but id have loved to see an annoyed Steven Adams vs Shaq
Ahhaha “annoyed Shaq off”
The DIESEL!!!
So many people dismiss Shaq as a bully ball guy. He had great footwork and a pro soft touch. If Shaq had been 180lbs and 6'2 he still woulda killed it in a different way.
So much easier to perform when you get fired up. Love to see moments like this. If he could have found ways to get fired up every night there's no doubt he would be the undisputed GOAT. He also would have had as many rings as he wanted. There was nobody that could stop him except himself. He changed the entire NBA in the 90s/2000s, every team started putting 3-4 big guys on their roster just so they could rotate and foul with no worries.
It’s like the Oracle telling Neo he is not the one. Sometimes that’s what people need to hear necessarily what the person believes.
Shaw vs chamberlain?
That many points with not one 3pt attempt
Clickbait but I still watched
Big Shaq Diesel Brick City Newark N.J. #34
Never provoke a beast, Like Shaq. Just do your job, get your points and try to keep Shaq under 30 points.
Kareem has Always been the same player/ex player since he was discovered in High School! I admired his career, but one does Not have a right to disrespect everyone around him!
If he could hit free throws……he’d have had at least 80-90 in a few games…….Shaq was unstoppable…..
Shaquille o'neal is ALL AMERICAN!
imagine if he is playing now in league without centers😂bbq
Lol, I love this story. To think Shaqs most p*ssed off moment that made him score and dominate in a game like he never has before wasn't some player talking trash to get him fired up, but some random dude. Not even a fan but a guy working concessions that didn't give him free tickets for his friends. Little did any of the Clippers players, coaches or upper management know that employee screwed them over that night.
That’s the intensity Kobe had every night.
He needed to get pissed off more often! If he played with this kinda intensity 50% of his career, there would be no GOAT debate!
What a man child^^
imagine if Shaq had the work ethic and/or the drive to keep himself in shape like MJ or Kobe. plz! don't get me wrong. MJ the Goat...Kobe The Black Mamba...Shaq Diesel Superman. I have his Orlando Magic jersey for all the great dominance he presented throughout his years. but I still feel that 10-20% was a wasted talent now that I have come to know his work ethic and the little drive he had in his later years to keep himself in shape. with that said, "THANKS SHAQ FOR THE MEMORIES. MUCH MAD RESPECT!"
Kobe came out and said if Shaq had his work ethics Shaq would be the greatest all time no question
That fire is a skill in itself. MJ made up stories for himself so he could play like this story all the time. If Shaq had that, he'd for sure be in the GOAT talk. Shaq mad and hungry on demand? No stopping that.
Where's the parts about Shaq getting a rim job from Kobe, and then making a song about it? Seems incomplete without that "highlight".
His nickname should have been trainwreck because Diesel doesn't suit him.
His only competition in nba history is wilt and as far as physical dominance… it wasn’t much competition honestly wilt was more like Giannis’s build shaq was Embiid with anger plus 75Lbs and a fierce energy
Guys are lucky on that era, Shaq aint got Mamba Mentality.
When Shaq was in LA he was a fucking monster! There was NO answer for him. The best teams came up with was the hack-a-Shaq. Think about that. The fact that he couldn't shoot free throws was the universe's way of balancing everything out. If he just shot 60% FT he woulda averaged over 50 ppg
What did Shaq do from 1992-1998? He had all stars players in Anderson, Penny, and power forward and multi time champ Grant in Orlando. Good thing he had Kobe, the real reason the Lakers were champs.
In shaqs defense, they did do pretty well in the playoffs a few times. They lost in the finals once, one of the teammates choked freethrows at the end of a game that screwed them in a series, and the last couple years penny started getting hurt every year and he was the clear #2 on that team.
As usual, with the 90’s, take Jordan & Hakeem out and Shaq ‘s Magic, Jazz, Suns, Sonics, Portland, Indiana, Knicks all would have chips and be considered great teams.
Can’t blame Shaq for the Magic not winning. They were a great team. Probably one of the most talented teams all time. More talented team-wise than the Bulls and Rockets. But both the Rockets and the Bulls had the two greatest players all time at those positions. Nothing you can do about that, even if you Shaq.
SHAQ was the Michael Jordan of all SHAQs
I love shaq but the idea of him getting up only when he gets triggered is actually true! And Hakeem cooked his ass lol.
He coulda done this every game
Shaq was one of a kind, the fact that you’re seeing a big throw a lob to one of his guards (Kobe) for a dunk should tell you everything about his desire to win, it didn’t just come from him scoring points himself. It came from him, being unselfish to do what was right… I wish the media wouldn’t have pushed the narrative that they decided to that wound up dividing those two, because hands-down, and this is my opinion shack, and Kobe was the best one to punch in the history of the NBA. Would even say that over Jordan and Pippin. it’s kind of crazy how Shaq and Kobe wound up friends after a several year long feud, when Mike and Pip won 6 together you would’ve thought they were inseparable only to find out that Scotty Pippen is a salty lil b*+
Two players who can double team Shaq and destroy shaq confidence. Daryl Dawkins and Adams
9:37 "i dont get angry, i get even."
BULLSHIT shaq is the most petty person out there. If he didnt have those rings, people would have a much different view of him.
Kareem didn't need extra motivation
This is the difference between MJ, Kobe and Shaq. MJ and Kobe didn't need to get stiffed to get up for a game. They wouldn't take games off. If Shaq had MJ or Kobe's drive he would have likely been the best ever.
And if he could shoot free throws...
I like the way Shaq was and is. In all this competitiveness show man ship, he really enjoyed the game and life. That's more important.
Really? Did you remember that Dennis Rodman played on a leash, and still kicked dat AZZ!
@@anurag123B Depends on your perspective. MJ and Kobe were about winning first and foremost
@@doug6723 sure but as a basketball fan, the achievements of Kobe and MJ didn't matter to me. Watching an entertaining game did. Shaq, KD, Steph Curry, they would be my choices. Even Gasol I liked. 🙂 to each his own.
Most physically dominating man ever, with a career high 61. Somewhere Wilt is laughing.
Shaq was built different, Kobe should have never mentioned work ethic. Kobe has never been 7'1" 300 lbs. He never had a clue.
In the game Shaq scored 61 Points he had zero Blocks zero steals not sure why they said he was blocking shots.
