I'll bet Richard Lester, who directed "A Hard Day's Night" saw this film and took notes.
Richard Lester directed _It's Trad Dad/Ring a Ding Rhythm_ first, and it was his work on this film that got him the gig directing _A Hard Day's Night,_ as when Brian Epstein saw it, he knew that Lester was exactly the right man for the job.

@skidso72 He was from Norfolk Virginia and served in the US navy, so your country is to blame. I've seen the worst teeth I've ever seen while travelling the USA, it's not all Hollywood is it.
Even Alain Delon who was the biggest hearthrob of that era had imperfect smoker's teeth, it was a different era thus a different beauty standards.
