- Meechy (Tameka) Monroe is one of my little sisters who also creates RUclips videos like me. Together we are known as The Monroe Sisters. She was diagnosed with brain cancer in May of last year. She has suffered multiple strokes which have left her with a speech delivery challenge known as Aphasia (Aphasia does not affect intelligence so she is the same sharp Meechy). Her cancer was classified as a sarcoma tumor which formed from a nerve in her brain and was deemed extremely rare affecting only 1 in 100 cancer cases in the US. Sarcomas are typically lower body tumors and do not normally originate in the brain. Her doctors were baffled by her case and even more baffled by how well the cancer responded to her treatments. The cause of her cancer is still unknown. Thanks to everyone who has supported my sister through her journey to recovery. Man I cried like crazy... My uncle was diagnosed with cancer and is not healed... I shout to God every time, I rejoice with Meechy! I love how close all you all are! Many blessings to you all!!!!!!!

I cried when I heard Meechy's voice and her speech. But they were tears of joy because I was deeply moved. It's amazing to witness what God is capable of. Glory to the Lord Almighty. I do not know you personally (only through your videos) but I'm so happy for you, Meechy. As Vaughn said, it's not just a birthday, it's a celebration of life! Happy belated birthday beautiful girl.

I'm in school studying to become a speech pathologist and cases like this always intrigue me. Her speech is FANTASTIC. Patients with aphasia often have speech that is unintelligible, but Meechy speaks extremely well! She is blessed in many ways, I'm sure she knows that though. It's just amazing what God does, WONT HE DO IT!! I know I already commented but I really just am happy for her and you alls family, much love ✌🏼️💋
