I love that you clarified the exact question on my mind. I don't have a blending brush like that and tend to use the applicator brush you showed for packing, and perhaps tend to have issues because of that. Great video.

Just crossed this video 5 yrs later....Hey better late than never HA !! Yes you can as long as you have two lighter shades..The darkest in the corner, med in the crease and lightest above the med crease to blend the shadow in *)
U just have to use smaller brushes. I have the same exact issue and i can do any look anyone else can. Watch make up by myrna on here. Shes a smaller youtuber but that bitch is all about her hooded eye tutorials. Changed my life completely. Check her out for real.

Why are people moaning? Let's get one thing straight... She's gone for a certain look and not every smokey eye or eye make is is ever the same there are tons of looks to choose from. If you look close enough you'll notice that she has blended well but chosen to not take the darker colour too far in for whatever reason.
Sorry but i didn't like this tutorial, the way she blended the colors made it look unfinished not to mention it's not evenly applied on both eyes! I see absolutely not technique !

Actually got in the mirror with my shadows and brushes and followed step by step...and it worked. After I was comfortable with the technique, the trick was finding colors that work for my skin tone. Thanks so much. This helped so much.

My eyelids are way too small for anything fancy -.- And my brows are right above my crease so it makes it hard to put anything up there
Check tutorials for hooded eyes. I have hooded eyes as well and I find that 3 shades is enough since I don't have that much space to work with.
