This looks great and thanks for tip on putting a bone in the front. I’ll remember that for when I can finally get my hands on this pattern

Hi there! I have to ask. I am making myself the same corset, also reversable. However, i just thought about the fact that i can not sew the sids an backpieces together as the pattern says so. Because i will have an ugly side. Please can you tell me how you did it? I can tell from the video that it is very nicely done, but i cant see how you did have both sides sew so nicely. I already cut my fabric 🥲 thank you!!!!!

What size are the zip ties? Wonderful tutorial, by the way! ♥️

Great video! What is the tool that you used to add the metal pieces to your ribbon?

Thanks! They are called aglets or shoelace ends/tips, and you use a crimping tool. I purchased a kit that had the tool and the metal tips on Amazon. I'll be honest, it took me a while to remember what they were called. It's not a word I use often lol

Stunning!! Thanks for sharing! I am making the same pattern and this helped a lot.
Where did you get the gorgeous white blouse that you wore the corset with?

Thank you! The top was made using the Polaris pattern from French Poetry. It's a quick and easy sew.

Can you just buy bias tape rather than making it? If so, what size would it be? I'm in a time crunch 😅

oh that is a good question. Yes you can buy it, but I don't remember what size this was. I usually go for 1/2" or 3/4" depending on the project.

Rewatching the video it looks like I made 1/2" double-fold bias tape, so when it's unfolded it measures 2" wide, but when folded in half and half again it ends up being 1/2" thick.

@@thevintageraven5822thanks so much for the reply! I finished 😅 definitely not the wisest pick for a first sewing project but, I DID IT! She's a full on Monet but, I'm still proud of it. I did the A pattern this time, but I'd like to try the C next. This one was a bit tight on the upper back and sits high into my under arms so I think I need a little extra on the straps if I make it again.
