Carcassonne, Montpellier, Nîmes | Smith Family Travelogue

Next stop on our trip is Southern France - Carcassonne, Montpellier, and Nîmes.
Our Airbnb was in Montpellier, but took trains to Carcassonne and Nîmes.
💡We learned about Roman cities, castles, Charlemagne, and Joan of Arc before an after visiting this area. We learned that flamingos migrate here to eat shrimp that give them their pink color. We saw them in the bay while riding on the train! Flamingos would be a fun subject to study as well.
