What about security? RFID TAG can be cloned without consent and touching it. RF tag of your home is in your wallet and thief clone card without letting you know and loot your home.

Is there any way (programming) to operate the lock as a simple lock, so disabling the "auto-lock" feature? I mean 1 card read operation to open the lock and one card read operation to close it. Because at home it would be a much more convenient way of operation for example on a patio or in the workshop.

Nyujtó Imre ya needs to change the code and the locking mechanism. I've used an actuator here. You can have a servo motor or any suitable method.
