I do the same. That's ridiculous to expect if you have nowhere to be the next morning and we have now three other children. Most women now a days want too much. But then again, my husband always takes paternity leave after the babies is born and helps 24/7. It sucks, we all need sleep so finding a balance is hard but obviously if you are home then that's your job.

My husband works so I let him sleep he does still get up to help but I tell him to go sleep. Weekends he takes over always especially sundays

twingirl51 yeah but she also carried this child for 9 months and is taking care of her every hour of every day. Pumpkin needs to rest otherwise she isn’t going to be that great of a mom. People wonder why these women are killing their kids and such, is because they are home all day with them and they have postpartum depression, and they are sleep deprived... the least he could do is take care of the baby when he gets home from work so she can take a nap and be able to care for the baby throughout the night.

There’s needs to be a balance. Stay at home mom= full time job too. I’m a SAHM and I do most if not all of baby duty/cooking/cleaning. Occasionally I get hubs to change diapers or wake up early on weekends so I can get a couple hours of continuous sleep. Being a first time mom is hard enough without having any help from your husband.

If your husband is the only one working outside of the home you need to handle the baby at night.Sleep when the baby sleeping.I worked with my 5 babies and still got up along with my husband to take care of them.You need to adjust to being a mommy.That baby cannot take care of herself.

I can understand her frustrations. My husband worked 15 hour days as a chef, so I was always the one taking care of our baby. But when ur exhausted, u get pissed, u get delusional lol... it's hard work.

He DOES have a point. I am not a Mom, but from what I have seen, when you have a child and one parent stays at home all day and the other one works, its typically understood that the non-working parent does night duty with the baby.
do you understand up the person who takes care of child cannot get any sleep but it could be dangerous if it's at an appropriate time because that's what happens when someone sleep deprived sometimes that children get hurt because their parents that's why it takes two to make baby that's why it and just because they are working doesn't mean they don't have responsibilities a being a parent and this is coming from a stay-at-home mom Keith needs to do his part he comes home and does nothing and then goes to sleep and does nothing to help take care of that baby if you have no experience maybe you shouldn't say a word about it

Sweetheart. I worked and had 2 children under the age of 2. You do not work. Sleep when the baby sleeps. If your husband is working especially in the hot sun let him rest. Not being old ugly but working outside is hard work.

To be a good mother she needs her rest. She's tired. It's easier to be sleep deprived at work because u are up and moving around getting a task done and getting paid but to be sleep deprived and have to be responsible of another humans life, its very hard. It's a 24/7 job. Imaging having to sleep at ur work, and you're on call.
And to be a good father who provides for his child he needs his rest. She can still nap during the day while the baby is asleep. If he falls asleep on the job he would probably be fired. Plus June or June's sister could watch the baby for a couple hours if Pumpkin was really that sleep deprived.

When we had our babies including twins and a 2 year old, my husband worked and I stayed home. I did most of the nights, unless I was majorly exhausted and felt weird. I was able to nap when the babies napped. If he was working he can’t nap during the day.

No help? She has June, June's sister and Alana. She can also nap during the day when the baby is sleeping. Josh has to do physical labor during the day so he needs to rest. Pumpkin's lazy ass needs to either get a job or shut up and take care of the baby. She's ungrateful as hell.

I don't watch this show so I don't know her personal work ethic...but stay at home moms work all day just as much as their husbands. Caring for a baby and a home is no joke. The moms are just are the ones who are literally never allowed to sleep simply because they they don't bring home a paycheck. As if the almighty dollar is the only way to determine worth as a human being. The husband needs to tend to the child he helped make and let his wife sleep when he gets home. They need to work together instead of one carrying the whole load. Seriously...sleep deprivation leads to serious depression, hallucinations, psychosis, and suicide. If she stays up one night, he should stay up the next. She isn't a slave, this is the 21st century.

What Pumpkin doesn’t realize is that even if Josh helped her at night, that won’t take away the stress and exhaustion she feels being a parent. Right now, the family needs money to move, so Josh has to work. Because of that, a lot of the caretaking responsibilities are going to fall on her. It’s inevitable. If Josh got fired because he fell asleep at work or had an accident at work from being sleep deprived, Pumpkin would be in the situation of either being in a worse financial situation than what she is or she would have a husband and a child to look after. She needs to grow up and stop taking her anger out and learn how to manage her time, finances, etc.

I’m a first time mommy and I sleep when my baby sleeps. Hello yeah I get sleepy, but it’s worth it for my sweet girl. My husband helps with our baby, but I let him sleep and nap to since he works!

My three kids were on a sleep i worked till i had my daughter and then after having her i went back to work family helped me out they watched her till i got off work then i was pregnant with my second child worked as well my third his dad worked i stayed home all three kids were on a sleep schedule never had issues when they were born and now with my 4th i worked till i found out that i have issues with this pregnancy had to leave that job i always never had this issue with my kids got my sleep every baby is different

If she really “NEEDS” a wipe warmer look for one secondhand! Facebook market place, Offer up or even goodwill if you have the time to search. (Yard sales during the summer are an amazing way to get baby stuff SUPER CHEAP) I am not even a mom and even I know that! Especially if you’re saving up to move your family out of your moms house
Well I guess I'm lucky mama. Cause my husband would get up with all 3 of our kids. When they were smaller and still now to when they get sick or bad dreams. I do as well but he's usually on top of it! Great dad's happy father's day!

One; try to nap when the baby takes her longest nap. That helps
And Two( if Josh gets two days off then have him take one of those nights with the baby.
