Alana mama one thing I see this television show. It has helped her to provide for her girls. However there a little spoiled but I get what June is trying to do. Sugar 🐻 ain't consistent in his roll as Daddy. She don't want to get her baby hope up then she get crushed. He go back to not being there. He using June as an excuse to stay away. No one can keep a parent from there biological child unless it's something the other parent trying to protect the child from. It's a sad case all together.

Juno seemed to be the one actually talking to Alana during this. I know they was in mediation and what not, but he actually talks to Alana like a person not tries to talk for her like everybody else. From what I’ve seen Juno is the only reasonable adult around at times 🤦🏼♀️

Right!!! My mom lost 200+ lbs she gained maybe 20-30 back but she’s still at a healthy weight.
hollie basnight when you have the type of surgery june has you can only eat so many ounces of f food something like 4 ounces while its not impossible to gain back some weight, most people dont because they cant.
Right As Rain a lot of people gain weight back from that actually. Not within the first year or two.. but their stomach stretches a little to accommodate more food.. They do end up gaining some weight back but not all of it. Very few people gain all of their weight back.. What people don’t realize with this surgery it just limits your intake. You still have the option of stuffing your gut with unhealthy food.. which may be why some people gain that weight back. Correct me if I’m wrong though..

If I were June, I would get a restraining order on both Sugar Bear and Jennifer so me and my own family can live in peace. Sugar Bear and Jennifer has major boundary issues and so does the rest of them but the ones who are very extreme on this is Sugar Bear and Jennifer. Remember one thing, Alana should be the first priority.
I have to laugh when Jennifer tells June to let sugar bum be a father to Alana and to stay the hell out of it... That's what set June off, as it would any mother. I get that as mothers we do everything to protect our kids from everything and that an inconsistent dad just causes the child to be disappointed but at Alana’s age it would make more sense for Alana and sugarbear to have a mediation where Alana describes what she expects from him and her consequences if he cannot do those things. Alana feels like she has no control over her own life and her wishes. That way if sugarbear doesn’t meet Alana’s expectations then she has the right to choose what happens instead of her being upset about her mom and Dad always fighting over her and the petty crap the parents have going won’t be the factor of his relationship with her. It will be solely based on his daughters wishes

Destiny Destiny I get that she finds it awkward and it’s always going to be awkward if she rarely sees him. My parents divorced when I was two as well. By 10, the entire fight was neither parent wanted me to see the other and I blamed my mom for keeping me away. Once she let me lay down my law and rules it was so much better because if he messed up the I had the control to cut him out of my life Alana did say he was awkward but she also has snuck over to her dads house. She wouldn’t if she didn’t want to see him.
Alana and Sugar Bear should spend time together without Jennifer there. It has to really weird and uncomfortable for Alana to hang around a woman she knows detests her mother.

I had gastric bypass and gained most of the weight back also. I kept it off for 10 years without effort then some serious medical issues hit and I was sidelined with 2 major surgeries, feeling bad, being less active, not being able to eat fruits & vegs, etc... Feeling sorry for myself, my old eating habits returned. Weight loss surgery fixes you physically but if you don't get your head fixed you'll never keep the weight off for good. I hope she reins in whatever 'demon' it is making her eat again. That weight will just be waiting to return if not.

Secondly, June should give Sugar bear supervised visitations (again) for Alana sake. She shouldn't had stormed off for like that. If June is truly convinced that sugar bear won't fellow through then June has nothing to worry about because the mediator has to report to the judge that Sugar bear did not keep his part of the negotiations.

Here's what needs to happen: Mike and June do not to be friends but what they need to understand is that they aren't getting back at each other, they are hurting Alana.
June needs to allow Mike visitiation. There needs to be scheduled visitiation & Mike needs to stick to those dates and times.
Mike needs to make an extra effort with Alana and move aside his selfish desires & put Alana 1st. He needs to stop including Jennifer in this because Alana is not her child, she makes everything worse.
Finally, someone needs to ask Alana what SHE wants. She is old enough to make the decision about what she would like done. This is her life they are talking about. Why doesn't she get a say? Because she is not 18? Ridiculous. She can decide for herself what she would like to do, she is old enough.

HOW is it ANY of Jennifer's business what goes on between Mike and June as it has to do with Alana. THEY are the parents. She is NOT the parent and she doesn't have the right to tell June (who IS Alana's MOTHER) to stay the hell out of it, when its JUNE'S CHILD who is being considered to have unsupervised visits with Mike. As far as I have seen, Mike HASN'T stepped up as a father for Alana. He DOES have a very hot temper. So I can understand why June has reservations about allowing him to see Alana without supervision.
