After Nelson Piquet Jr.’S crash brought out the yellow he was still likely to win if Ferrari hadn’t stuffed up his pit stop.
If Massa had won that race and Lewis ended up 4th, Massa would have one the championship by 10pts (if my maths is correct).
Massa definitely deserved to win the championship though Lewis didn’t do anything wrong either.

You don't get it do you? The truth came out in 2009. It was too late to appeal cos the rule was that if the driver was crowned champion it couldn't be overturned. So he didn't appeal because he couldn't. The difference now is that they admitted knowing about it in 2008 when an appeal was possible. So they've admitted corruption and hiding the truth and preventing appeals. It's completely different. It's not like massa took 14yrs to kick up a fuss. Bernie just publicly admitted they knew and covered it up. Can you not see the difference?

That scandal wouldn't even get knew by the public if it wasn't for Piquet's son being fired by Renault.

It was only Renault that cheated. So should Nico Rosberg have his podium taken away from him and every other driver that got a result that day. Bernie just made ludicrous claims about that race. Just like he has always done. If any action was taken at the time only Alonso would lose his race win. And everyone else would move up. As no one else cheated. Which would mean Hamilton still wins by 2 more points. So he didn't need to pass glock.
