*ok*
Man I remember I got this game in 2021 of this year. And when I got it. The audio for the cutscenes wouldn’t work. Game was playable of course. But you couldn’t hear sonic and his friends talk in the cutscenes. You can barley hear them. All you can hear is the music
That ought'a SUCK!
Go into the options menu and then set the character voices to a higher volume

this just reminds me how good sonic forces could have been
sonic forces but the level design is good
I was told you about sonic forces mods but you did it already
Ok, I like how they went with sonic after "being tortured"
People always say he should be depressed but sonic wouldnt ever really do that
Him being super vengeful makes a lot more sense
Yeah, but here's he's just more of the same. Sure, he says that he's going to get vengeance against Eggman and co., but his tone stays the same. Almost like he's just saying it. If Sonic was super vengeful, he'd be barely able to contain his rage and hatred, and his words would be dripping with venom.
@@umbreonel5730 yeah, but the tone of roger Craig Smith's sonic (the voice very well replicated if not too much) is very much a voice that stays in the same tone most the time
The best sonic voice for roger imo was boom sonic in the show
@@buttered_n Regardless of VA, the tone of voice should shift accordingly to the context presented. You're not wrong in saying that Smith's Sonic always stays in the same voice, though.
Also, I remembered that in the original Japanese script, there was no mention of Sonic being tortured; they just added that in for the English script.
@@umbreonel5730 yeah, and it's just my thoughts
It may or might not of been what they were going for with it. It's just how I interpreted it
@@buttered_n Yeah, this game is a perfect example of why SEGA's Sonic mandates are bullshit. For the IDW comics, Shadow's mandated characterization is so bad and inflexible, Ian Flynn got him out of the way as soon as possible. It's that bad.
I mean sonic forces can be better with like 40 stages
Right
I’m not the kind of guy to say HIRE THIS MAN but if the fans can make a shat game a bit more fun why can’t sega just give us a fun game to play
I swear when people say “HIRE THIS MAN” and then they make a game just like it, the fans get mad
This is still bad, just adding a couple more hazards to the level design doesn't automatically make it better when the levels are still too short, the control is still garbage, the set pieces are still worthless and annoying, and when it just is Sonic Forces.
These people need to learn that there is NOTHING that is going to fix Forces. Unless you literally change basically EVERYTHING it's not gonna be good.
Honestly, who even give a damn about this game anymore anyway?
i'll be real, the fact that there's so many re-imaginings of this damn game should stand testament to how much of a miss this game was, it's not even notably bad like 06 or boom, just mediocre
@@ZionnetheMeme honestly 06 could of been an amazing game if they had more time story was insane, character development was off the charts, open world was kinda good, gameplay was bad but could been better I hope we get it remastered and fixed someday
Exactly it just feels like insanity. It’s like watching people trying to glue and tape up a shredded document back into the way it was. It’s hopeless! No disrespect to the people who put their time and effort for making these mods on Forces but let’s face it. Nothing will really improve the game the way we wish it really was.
Its unfourtnate it's only game play we can fix the story kinda bad too but we do what we can right?
well there's an attempt on fixing the story as a whole. With re-recorded voice lines and stuff. But i never saw that one anymore lately.
Level design's kinda bad too with the good old SPIKE AND ENEMY EVERYWHERE idea of harder levels.
Wait really?you think there might be a way to combine both into one mod?I'll look at the vid but if someone figured out how that be amazing!
@@MyWeirdFox I just found out there's a mod called Sonic Forces Overclocked, which rewrites the entire game. New cutscenes, new world map, new story, new stages, new music.
But the mod's story is set after the initial game though, so it's more like a fanmade DLC rather than a rewrite.
Still really cool.
ruclips.net/video/ane3TQfDr1w/видео.html
Oh, turns out it is overclocked, but the old version of the mod. The entire mod is now redesigned and is better.
Wow I hope they keep working on this glad to see someone already has done it it's pretty cool
Is it me or forces looks more like generations
👏👏👏👏👏
In my opinion Egg Gate was one of those stages that looked amazing and the level design is great too
Wow that’s cool I never knew that sonic Forces re-imagine A new update that’s what I’m talking about!
Sonic Forces but it's mostly agreeable to be good (i like OG forces but gotta admit this is WAY better)
Sorry but I can’t agree. Forces is bad
@@ShineSpriteGamer Sonic Forces is actually not a bad sonic game well it’s your opinion that you don’t like Forces
@@fizaplayz4765 ?
@@ShineSpriteGamer why are you so confused?
@@fizaplayz4765 Your grammar was just hard to read there.
The levels looks the same with just a few added things. The stage length is still the same
This is how the zones should have been like!
While this is better, I feel that this game’s level design needs an entire overhaul
This game had some of the best visuals a Sonic game has ever seen.
If the game had better level design, story, bosses, and removed classic Sonic it could’ve been one of if not the best modern Sonic game ever.
This is an awesome mod
Kinda wish there was more wisp variety
Epic.
ah yes. no sand hill.
1:10 wait, is this dialogue official
I wonder what happens if you combined sonic forces all versions with all mods, sonic generations all versions with all mods, sonic colors all versions with all mods, sonic lost world all versions and all mods, sonic mania all versions, all mods, and all fan-games that go over it, and sonic mania plus all versions, all mods, and all fan-games that go over it.
BADNIKS ARE DOING SOMETHING!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?1/1/
Idk why so many ppl hate on sonic forces i think its a good game maybe its becuse i played it on switch but its your opinion
They like hating on the game because it’s a downgrade and for some reason they think it’s worst then Sonic 06 and Boom
@@mirak1934 yeah no 06 was the wose game ever boom too all of the boom franchise was failing and 06 was so bad it was like sega made the models ok? and then the game was made in 5h i like the game bc it has character stages modern sonic stages and classic sonic stages but yea something was a lil off but i dont hate it
@@Trxaks Multiple reasons.
It has a horrible story.
Levels are short and gameplay is almost all done for you.
Physics suck
Barely anything new has been added.
It's super short.
And there's probably a bunch more reasons.
People think it's worse with Forces because unlike Boom and 06 it didn't really actually have some reason to be as sucky as it was. It's the mediocrity overall that I think really makes this game bad. How long will we get half arsed Sonic games like Lost World and Forces?
Surely not the worse Sonic game but definitely the most depressing at the moment.
@@professorwhovian7403 yea true it will be better if they added spindash for modern sonic like generations
Sega should’ve hired the people behind fan games to make forces’ levels
