Until her death, Colleen Gray said that she was surprised at all the fans this movie generat- ed over the years. She received more fan mail from this film than all the other's she had made. She answered all her fans and was very appreciative.

That depends on the audience. And it’s your opinion, nothing more.
There are masterpieces being produced today, but it depends on what you consider a “quality” movie.
If you want expect some Christian morality play that teaches little girls to adopt 1950’s morality, you are out of luck.
We can’t unmake history and we surely can’t undo the things that brought us to this place: the civil rights movement, the women’s movement, the gay rights movement… I could generate a list of at least 50 movies that are fabulous. Start with public television. They produce some fine classics.

When I was in high school I never would have believed that some of the girls I went to high school with would actually become much prettier and remain so more than 50 years after high school. The writer of this story must have been pretty young because if a man lives long enough he learns that if he is really in love with a woman she never stops looking beautiful to him. I'm convinced that when couples in their 90s say they're "still on their honeymoon" they are telling the truth.

Williams stars in three of my favorite B pictures - LEECH WOMAN, MONOLITH MONSTERS, and INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN. He also when younger had a fine singing voice and even sang with the Robert Shaw Chorale (about as good as it got at the time). I love Estelle Hemsley's voice - she had a more prominent stage than film career, and you can hear the clarity of her tone especially here. Would have loved to hear her as some of the great Shakespearean characters.

I saw this on Sir Graves Ghastly 's show one Saturday afternoon back in the third grade fifty four years ago. June In Dire Need Of A Fix looked just like our school teacher especially in the scene during which she tosses Grant Williams out of her boudoir when her 'meds' wear off at an extremely awkward moment. Doncha hate it when that happens?!! A remake of this fun & campy flick would be a trip ! How about Tori Spelling and Channing Tatum with Halle Berry as Mala.

Music cue at 1:04. Same music that gets used in "Written On The Wind" when Dorothy Malone gryates with abandon

1:04:32 - I recognize this fast-paced mambo music from when it was used in the big-budget melodrama "Written On The Wind" several years earlier in 1956 in a scene where drunken Dorothy Malone dances wildly at a high-class party.

For a 60s sci Fi, this had a little of everything. Betrayal, murder, seduction, greed, female jealousy and a cat fight.....and a dumb attorney who opened himself up a "me two" accusation!! Lol...
