Stars: Connie Stevens • Robert Driscoll • Mark Damon • Frances Farmer
An unruly teenage gang led by Mark Damon gets their kicks by crashing square teen parties around town. At an innocent teen gathering, Damon charms rich spoiled brat Connie Stevens into accompanying him to a motel party and she drags along her decent young date (ex-child star Bobby Driscoll). While there, Damon discovers his alcoholic mother (Doris Dowling), who falls down a flight of stairs while struggling to get away from her son. Along the way, the kids' parents provide the viewer with insight about their children's troubled lives. The final film of both Farmer and Driscoll before they moved to television work.
When I was about 4-5 years old, and lived in Orange County California, it was a big thing for the Hollywood types (and everyone else around Southern Cal) to go to the bullfights n TJ. Once my parents took me down there but I was sick so had to stay in the car while everyone else went in (adults used to leave kids in cars for hours on end back then.....as my dad did on Sunday when he would sneak out to a bar and tell my mom he was taking me to the car races). This one particular day I was brought a program from the bullfights signed by Connie Stevens and Eddie Fisher!
And you survived!!! I do remember the days being left in the car.
Another top find. The final picture of former child actor Bobby Driscoll and Frances Farmer.
Connie Stevens at the peak of her pulchritude! Ya gotta love her!
As always, excellent. These retro- classics are terrific 👍🍿🎥
Yes they are!
Good flick - thanks for posting 👍🏼
You're welcome!
This looks like another good movie. Thank you.
You're welcome!
Loved this one so much. ❤️
Glad you liked it!
Mark Damon, 4/22/33 to 5/12/24 R.I.P.
I must see this one since it stars one of my all-time faves, the cute, Connie Stevens. This was one of the films she starred in before she hit the Warner Bros. big time with Hawaiian Eye, Parrish, Rock a bye baby, Susan Slade, Scorchy and Palm Springs Weekend.
She was already showing star quality in these fun B-movies!
Good movie.. ty
You're welcome!
I enjoyed that.
43:05 He just needs to let her go and find someone else he's more compatible with, someone on his level and with the same life goals.
There's nothing wrong with her or him, they're just not a good match and he's playing way out of his league with her anyway.
He should be glade she's showing him her true colors now before they get married and have children and he's got a mortgage and she's cheating behind his back with the _bad boys_ she really wants.
This is a blessing and she's giving him a gift.
But that's just me.
Love the cars!
Thanks RW 😊
26:54 Thank you for taking her off my hands.
Good luck and may God have mercy on your soul.
Kids knew how to have fun back then.
I love it, driving around in expensive sports cars, but can't afford a bear...
54:22 It's funny, when I was younger and had no intention of crashing any parties or weddings.... I would just walk by and get invited in by the girls.
Good times, good memories.
Dancing a lot of fun then
When they crash the " adult party", they meet guys who were ww2 and Korea vets, BIIIIGGG mistake. A guy like Twig lands up 50 years old, working as the fry cook at Macdonalds. Bald, fat, bitter alcoholic, living with his parents. Otherwise, an upbeat, cheerful ending.
3:58 How many _dens_ does this house have?
57:43 They are on the ground floor..... Are there not any bedroom or bathroom windows?
55:07 I haven't watched this movie yet.... but I am starting to think that kid is going to find his mother there and it ain't going to be pretty.
Good guess!
19:19 And the reason I want to get married?
Please tell me again why I want to get married.
I keep forgetting.
0:37 My _Old Man_ wouldn't advance me any allowance?
These boys look old enough to get jobs.
16:48 We e e e e e l..... He could get a job.
So there's that.
Mark Damon, no relation to Matt; this one isn't an overhyped egomaniac,
If Stan already knew about Twig and his party crashing gang he should have had security at his party to keep them out. But then there wouldn't have been a movie!
Cigarettes must have been really cheap. So many people in this movie light up, take one puff and stub it out.
Wonder how many of them got Cancer?
This movie was made in 1958 so I can't say, but in the seventies they were 0.35 cents a pack and anyone could buy them out of a vending machine, but if you went into a store to buy them in person you had to show I.D. that you were old enough.
I just _Googled_ what a pack of cigarettes' costed in the fifties and they were 0.25 cents a pack!
@@kevinharris5737 _Wonder how many of them got Cancer?_
I don't think cigarettes can get cancer.
😂😂😂😂
