+John Rollings I'm of the opinion that MOST canadian bands are seriously underrated.
      Kim Mitchell / Max Webster (a 2fer)
      The Headpins
Saga (Now THERE's a tight band)
      Honeymoon Suite
      Helix (I suppose)
      Lee Aaron
      Harlequin
      Mahogany Rush
      April Wine
You can't really slot Triumph in here, but Rik Emmett has a great solo discography
There are plenty more where these came from.

+Yves Martin Not easy for sure but I know of some that are more difficult, believe me. It's difficult mostly because it's a jam, and you can really mess up a jam. ;) The runs up and down the scale @ 4:15-ish are definitely not simple but once mastered should present no major issue. Streetheart owns this song now, if only because Ken "Spider" Sinnaeve is one of Canada's alltime greatest bassists and he makes this song just pop and groove.

I was like eleven or twelve, and glued my ears to am and fm...this was a hit, I loved it...I had not heard the stones version yet....I love the stones, and not to be blasphemous, this version is better than the stones, original!! the solo is also incredible..!!

    Under my thumb
A girl who once had me down
    Under my thumb, oh yeah
A girl who pushed me around
It's down to me, oh, what I say
The difference in the clothes she wears
    To me, here she come,
    Under my thumb
    Under my thumb
The squirmin' dog who's just had her day
    Under my thumb, oh
A poor dog, yeah yeah, She just changed her ways
It's down to me, oh, what I say
The difference in the clothes she wears
    To me, here she come,
    Under my thumb
    Under my thumb
A siamese cat of a girl
    Under my thumb
She's the sweetest, oh yeah, pet in the world
It's down to me, oh yeah, what I say
The difference when she's spoken to
    To me, here she come,
    Under my thumb
    Under my thumb
Her eyes are just kept to herself
    Under my thumb, well I
I'd still fool around with somebody else
It's down to me, oh that's what I say
The difference when she's spoken to
To me, here she come, she come
    Under my thumb
Take it easy baby and do you go
Take it easy baby and do you go
    Under my thumb
    Under my thumb
    Under my thumb,
(I think I love ya, I think I love ya)
    Under my thumb,
(I think I love ya, I think I love ya)
    Under my thumb,
(I think I love ya, I think I love ya)
    Under my thumb,
(I think I love ya, I think I love ya)
    Under my thumb,
(I think I love ya, I think I love ya)
    Under my thumb,
(I think I love ya, I think I love ya)

Streetheart is one of the best canadan bands ever, seen them at the Flin Flon Trout Festivel, back in the 80s, it was awsome.I grew up in Thompson Manitoba in the 70s, they were touring arond the province back then.

Had a chance to see these guys in the late 70's before they got famous. We drove about an hour and when we got there we found out tickets were 7 bucks. 7 BUCKS???!!! so we didn't go in. Stood on the sidewalk and listened for 15 min then left. lol. At that time gas was a buck a gallon and beer was $5/doz. About 6 months later they released their first album and we heard how good they actually were. But on the bright side, the beer sure tasted good. Fun times. haha

As a teenager and a young adult,,
    most of my favourite bands
We’re Canadian. Go Canada we have a lot of talent. It’s interesting that the guy who started Loverboy was one of Streethearts original musicians. Don’t ask me the name now lol.
