So beautiful ! I’m a trumpet lover but these saxophone players make me love saxophone as well. Geez ! What would say Coltrane and his babe brother Pharoah Sanders hearing such a wonderful stuff ?

I hope I get to play one of these days with Kirk Whalum, not only is he a great inspiration to many sax players around the world, but he is also a man of Faith, in Christ! Great performance guys!

Man, Indonesians can play! Nice job, kudos to them.. I personally wouldn't bring my horn to Kirk Whalum's show! I give them much credit though. They all sounded great. The first soprano was my favorite.

I've always loved this tribute by KW to one of the most influential musicians of the past 50 years. This remains for me, the best titled composition ever. Grover Lives!!!

That's Nate Phillips on bass, who has been touring with Jeff Lorber. He's also a founding member of the R&B/Funk Group 'Pleasure' . Remember 'Glide'? That's Nate's iconic bassline.

      @@kirkwhalum2214... Bonjour Monsieur Whalum,
As an administrator of... « Smooth Jazz Music Websites »... and... above all... « as a great admirer of your work »... I really appreciate your gesture of inviting and encouraging young saxophonists on stage...
even they sometimes are not perfect... and lack experience... May I tell you... « Congratulation »... for this gesture of your part...
