Hello everyone! Welcome to a new video on the channel where we drive British Rail Class 73/2s '73211' and '73208' hauling 10 British Rail General Utility Vans filled with newspapers and parcels assembled the previous night at London Victoria.
The train departs from London Victoria during a stormy Summers morning during 1970 and breifly travels down the South London Line making stops at Wandsworth Road and Clapham High Street. Afterwards; the train joins the Chatham Main Line making further stops at Brixton, Herne Hill, Sydenham Hill, Penge East, Kent House, Beckenham Junction, Shortlands and Bromley South. The final portion of the mail drop-off run takes us onto the South Eastern Main Line making a stop at Petts Wood and then Orpington where this scenario ends having traveled 14 miles in total.
