Trevor Donegan I knew mysterio was a villain going into the movie but everything he did was kind of twisty wasn’t it? I mean to me it was, especially when Peter used his spider tingle to sense mysterio pointing the gun at him
Mysterio was an incredible villain!!! As good as Michael Keaton's Vulture and I love how despite the fact that Mysterio died his effect was still felt through revealing Peter's identity and ruining his life

1. Into the Spider Verse 2. Far From Home 3. Spider Man 2 4. Homecoming 5. The Amazing Spider Man 6. Spider Man 7. The Amazing Spider Man 2 8. Spider Man 3 9. Venom
the part where happy told peter: "Tony picked you" wasn't referring to the glasses, it was talking about how Toney picked Peter to step up as a superhero
While Aunt May was talking to the people that now lived in her house, her nephew was fighting Thanos with the Avengers and Tony Stark giving his life for the world. Lol 😭
This Movie Was Great, Mysterio Was A Great Addition To The MCU, And If There Is A Spider Man 3, The Sinister Six Might Show Up With Doc Ock, Chameleon, Scorpion, Vulture, Green Goblin, And Maybe Mysterio.
It's also really heart warming to see how happy has grown. Compared to homecoming he actually respects Peter now and that's how Tony's death has impacted him
Some moments from Far From Home reminded me of Iron Man 3: • Aftermath of an Avengers movie • When the person asked Spider-Man “Are you going to be the next Iron Man?” and Spider-Man didn’t feel good and left, this was similar to Tony’s panic attack when the little boy asked him how he escaped the black hole • Villain used to look up to Tony Stark • Quentin Beck being a human actor who plays a Mysterio from another dimension is like Trevor Slattery playing the Mandarin • Spider-Man getting hit by a train is like Iron Man getting hit by a truck • One villain has fire powers
Why does everyone thinks there's no multiverse? Multiverse was introduced back in doctor strange, just Because Mysterio lied that HE is from another dimension doesn't mean there IS not another dimension
Totally agree with mysterio's motivation problems. It was the only thing I really didn't like about the film. So you're gonna be the best hero in the world and everyone will listen to you. Then what??
Moothews I mean it’s revealed tony saw him as highly unstable and that’s why he fired him, and he holds a deep hatred for him for disregarding his inventions and making him feel like a clown for his invention being named BARF, and he very clearly has a hero/god complex he wants to be the hero he wants to be the star, he essentially wanted to be the next tony stark, and he has a very weird fascination/obsession with being the one who can manipulate what everyone perceives it’s almost like he gets a thrill knowing that people will believe only what he shows them.
@@TheCoops119 To be fair, it was established in that explanation scene that he wasn't completely mentally stable. He seemed like the kind of guy who could tip over the edge of pushed far enough, and by the time we properly meet him, he already seems to have gotten close to that breaking point (only passing it when he finds out Peter discovered his ploy).
I get why you want stuff from the comics, but we already got that with the Raimi trilogy, it’s been made clear that the MCU Spider-Man is going to be a new take on Spider-Man and I like that.
17:30 I especially noticed that when "Nick Fury" was telling Peter about "Mysterios back story", he said "he is from Earth, just not *yours* ". Implying that he wasn't from Earth.
When Mysterio was announced to appear, I thought to myself, 'He's the villain for the movie. I know he's the villain.' And Jake Gyllenhaal's performance blew me away. Ironically, he's gotta be one of the better MCU villains next to Loki and Thanos.
My ranking for all the Spider-Man movies (solo) is 1. Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) 2. Spider-Man 2 (2004) 3. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) 4. Spider-Man (2002) 5. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) 6. Spider-Man 3 (2007) 7. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
Incredibles were actually inspired by Mysterio, Fantastic Four and X-Men. All those heroes and Mysterio were created in 1960s comics. So it's other way around. :)
They are releasing a 30-minute short movie in the Blu-Ray version where we get to see Spider-Man do friendly neighbourhood things, preparing for his Europe trip. So you might just get your friendly neighbourhood fix there.
My biggest problem with the movie is the plot twist in the middle. I loved the first part of the movie, I thought it laid the scenario really well, I loved seeing a high school field trip style movie, and I thought the buildup with Mysterio, and the Elementals was really interesting. Then they went and said "oh wait, none of this was real" and I felt cheated in a way. I still enjoyed this movie a lot, but dang, that plot twist took me out of the plot big time.
Mimi22*** Peter having a secret identity doesn’t make much sense due to none of the other hero’s having one and it’s not a problem. So why should Spider-Man have one?
I personally agree that this was not the best spider man movie, but I think the reason some people think that is because more than any other spider man movie, it captures the teenage awkwardness of both spider man and actual high schoolers. I think a great example is when MJ and Peter kiss. In my opinion it was way more realistic than having them straight up making out like the upside down kiss. Also the moments where peter worries about MJ and the new guy were very realistic and relatable.
As far as your issue with Mysterio's endgame and his jump to being willing to let people die in London goes, I think that's a fair complaint, personally though I think that when he mentioned that he was fired for being 'unstable' was supposed to suggest that yes, he is willing to kill people, plus I guess it fits in with his egotistical nature when after praising his crew at the bar he then threatens them with the drones, but yeah that could've been better defined. Also I think that his endgame was that he would be able to use E.D.I.T.H to become the "new Iron Man" and use tech to become the hero in the eyes of the public, which isn't dissimilar from what Tony Stark was given he didn't have powers yet was seen as a hero, but Mysterio would've more likely used the tech for personal gain as opposed to actual heroism, plus his whole idea of people seeing him as a hero despite not being a good person is in his eyes what Tony Stark was, which links into his last words (assuming he is actually dead) "People will believe anything these days."
When your saying it doesn’t feel like Spider-Man u seem to just be talking about the Rami movies cause u mentioned having Tony Stark and Nick Fury even tho Spider-Man has lots of crossovers in the comics with them and they weren’t in any other Spider-Man movies cause they weren’t allowed to I normally agree with most stuff say about Spider-Man it just bugs me that u seem to think Ramis Spider-Man is Spider-Man not just a version of him
the thing I love about mysterio’s death is that he managed to be a threat to peter even though he’s dead. kinda like thanos, as even though he died, the snap still ruined the world, so I love how even though he’s dead, he’s still an enemy
I noticed a lot was missing from the trailer. Holland also confirmed a lot was cut out and will be made into a mini-movie called "Peter's Errends" so that should be cool though
Honestly the movie was honestly a huge disappointment to me. Jake Gyllenhaal was incredible as Mysterio, but the rest of the movie was sub-par. The plot, jokes, even Tom Holland's performance felt lacking to me in comparison to Homecoming and Infinity War. Especially the "big ending" with Spiderman's identity was poorly executed to the point where I actually groaned in the theater when it happened. It was just so predictable and poorly placed for only the series second movie. Over all, this is just another Thor: The Dark World, Ironman 2, and Guardians Vol. 2 for me. An OK mcu movie that I'll watch once and likely never again.
I don’t get your confusion with Mysterio, I thought he was great, he wanted to create scenarios to make himself look like a superhero to be the next Iron Man because he was jealous of him having worked with him in the past but getting no credit.
not really a spoiler but i’ll still warn i absolutely loved the use of back in black when spider-man was making his suit it brought back the original iron man nostalgia
@@SeanChandlerTalksAbout Hey man could you rank Pirates of the Carribean? It's up to you but I love your videos so thanks for making people's day better! Also greetings from Australia!
Is it just me or are Mysterio and Screenslaver from Incredibles 2 the same villain? First off, they both use technology rather than physical combat to compete against the main characters. Second, they both have similar personalities. Third, they both appear to be good in the first half of the movie but are later revealed to be evil.
This movie is borderline rewatchable. I absolutely hate what they did with Mysterio. I never read the comics, but do you know how much cooler it would have been if he was real and the elementals were too??? That reveal that Beck is an average guy is so stupid and a lame excuse for a plot twist. I found many plot holes as well. If everything is just caused by the drones, how did Peter get wet, etc.? The action and visual effects are great though. 6/10
Another part where they poked fun at comics was when Flash was reading the Buzzfeed theory about the water elemental. That was the actual origin of Hydro-man.

Ahh okay got it. That makes more sense lol But idk if Stark was even aware where and when they were fighting his army.

Ahh okay got it. That makes more sense lol But idk if Stark was even aware where and when they were fighting his army.
I feel like they’re really pushing for him to become the next iron man, and sacrificing the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, balancing both lives
the part where happy told peter: "Tony picked you" wasn't referring to the glasses, it was talking about how Toney picked Peter to step up as a superhero
Nick Fury agent of S.W.O.R.D
I love how Happy went from ignoring Peter to being there for him when he needs him and getting closer is phenomenal.
I respect your opinion but i kinda disagree with some of your mixed and bad but i still respect it.
While Aunt May was talking to the people that now lived in her house, her nephew was fighting Thanos with the Avengers and Tony Stark giving his life for the world. Lol 😭
😂😂😂😂
This Movie Was Great, Mysterio Was A Great Addition To The MCU, And If There Is A Spider Man 3, The Sinister Six Might Show Up With Doc Ock, Chameleon, Scorpion, Vulture, Green Goblin, And Maybe Mysterio.
Replace one of those members with shocker. Hes in the same prison as scorpion and vulture.
Goblin and Ock on the same team is too much ego.
To many villains your introducing we haven't been introduced to, we don't want another amazing Spider-Man 2
Henry Gao mysterio is dead
@@kriscarling1412 Is he, though?
When happy said stark was sure about Peter, I believe that meant entrusting him as an avenger rather than specifically the owner of the glasses.
It's also really heart warming to see how happy has grown. Compared to homecoming he actually respects Peter now and that's how Tony's death has impacted him
Some moments from Far From Home reminded me of Iron Man 3:
• Aftermath of an Avengers movie
• When the person asked Spider-Man “Are you going to be the next Iron Man?” and Spider-Man didn’t feel good and left, this was similar to Tony’s panic attack when the little boy asked him how he escaped the black hole
• Villain used to look up to Tony Stark
• Quentin Beck being a human actor who plays a Mysterio from another dimension is like Trevor Slattery playing the Mandarin
• Spider-Man getting hit by a train is like Iron Man getting hit by a truck
• One villain has fire powers
I think they were going for a lot of parallels.
The Winner of Everything I saw this wall watching iron man 3
Puffer Playz true but the Iron Man 3 ones stuck out to me
Why does everyone thinks there's no multiverse? Multiverse was introduced back in doctor strange, just Because Mysterio lied that HE is from another dimension doesn't mean there IS not another dimension
What would you rank Mysterio in your MCU Villains List?
My top 3
1. Thanos
2. Mysertio
3. Vulture
@@pgjosiah I agree
1. Killmonger 2. Mysterio 3. Loki 4. Thanos 5. Vulture
Metal Monkey failed English Your actually drunk if you have malekith anywhere but the bottoms of your list, let alone in 6th place.
@@arshaddahlan pretty good list
I thought it was absolutely amazing all around, and mysterio was definitely a villain that you can relate with
The post credit scenes were both insane and mind blowing...
Mysterio is now one of my favourite villains, and Far From Home is my favourite MCU movie. Sorry, Thanos, Infinity War, and Endgame.
TNoot07 far from home is my third. Behind infinity war and endgame.
Totally agree with mysterio's motivation problems. It was the only thing I really didn't like about the film. So you're gonna be the best hero in the world and everyone will listen to you. Then what??
Moothews like oh he gave my invention a silly name, time to commit genocide
He also took credit for the technology
Moothews I mean it’s revealed tony saw him as highly unstable and that’s why he fired him, and he holds a deep hatred for him for disregarding his inventions and making him feel like a clown for his invention being named BARF, and he very clearly has a hero/god complex he wants to be the hero he wants to be the star, he essentially wanted to be the next tony stark, and he has a very weird fascination/obsession with being the one who can manipulate what everyone perceives it’s almost like he gets a thrill knowing that people will believe only what he shows them.
@@Sean-Correa-Production good point, I get that
@@TheCoops119 To be fair, it was established in that explanation scene that he wasn't completely mentally stable.
I wanted more of the mysterio stuff, it looks really cool
The ACDC scene when he was building a suit like Tony did gave me goosebumps
Hey Sean, do you think that you could rank all 3 marvel phases?
1, then 2, then 3

17:30 I especially noticed that when "Nick Fury" was telling Peter about "Mysterios back story", he said "he is from Earth, just not *yours* ". Implying that he wasn't from Earth.
No that was just for the false multiverse
Let's take the first half of what nick said
",He is from earth..."
@@skeletoncrew6500 no, I mean when "Nick" said "he is from Earth, just not yours". Iimplying that "Nick" wasn't from Earth.
My favorite word in the movie is "Boh"
Hussi21 Boh!
The ultimate MCU comedy would be a Spider-Man and Ant-Man team up.
AP EDITS Thor and guardians as well
Honestly the visual effects of this movie were amazing. And mysterio was an amazing villian
When Mysterio was announced to appear, I thought to myself, 'He's the villain for the movie. I know he's the villain.' And Jake Gyllenhaal's performance blew me away. Ironically, he's gotta be one of the better MCU villains next to Loki and Thanos.
My ranking for all the Spider-Man movies (solo) is
1. Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)
2. Spider-Man 2 (2004)
3. Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
4. Spider-Man (2002)
5. The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
6. Spider-Man 3 (2007)
7. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
Agree
Nah, Spider-Man 2 is still the best
That's a wild list
JJJ wanted a picture of Spider-Man so badly he went dimension hopping.
Is it just me or does this feel like a Spider-Man version of the first incredibles?
Saeda Yoxtheimer I didnt even think about this until you said it.. genius
The most underrated RUclipsr ever!!!!
Can you please rank your best superheroes of all time?
MrCuceto he’s already done that’s
@@kriscarling1412 when?
Kuala Ranks Movies_3000 ye he did
He did it with the mcu characters
1. goku/gohan
2. spiderman
3. hulk
4. godzilla
5. leonardo
6. lui kang
7. cyclops
8. superman
9. thor
10. flash
People need to stop comparing the mcu to the comics Bc they aren’t going by those stories. They’re making their own story and I love it
Austin Blackwell same here !! I’m living for it ! Love what they’re doing .
Mimi22*** Peter having a secret identity doesn’t make much sense due to none of the other hero’s having one and it’s not a problem. So why should Spider-Man have one?
Austin Blackwell yeah I agree . I feel the same way , it’s not bad. Specially nowadays with technology, pretty hard to hide your identity.
Kraven the hunter would be a great spidey 3 villain because he can hunt peter/Spider-Man
Rush Culture I’ve been thinking this heavily since I finished watching the movie, I don’t think anything else would make more sense tbh
My thoughts exactly haha!
Am I the only one who thinks they're gonna completely drop the "Spider-Man identity reveal" thing and probably use the Skrulls to do it
I wish they would of made it where Mysterio wasn’t a fake
The illusion scene with Iron Man was absolutely incredible
Also, let's talk about how irresponsible it was for a news broadcast to reveal the secret identity of a superhero, and a TEENAGER no less.
For the post credits scene I would rather of had an actual multiverse reveal
Saw it yesterday and I loved it 10/10
It’s my new favorite movie Infinity/10

I don’t get your confusion with Mysterio, I thought he was great, he wanted to create scenarios to make himself look like a superhero to be the next Iron Man because he was jealous of him having worked with him in the past but getting no credit.
not really a spoiler but i’ll still warn
i absolutely loved the use of back in black when spider-man was making his suit it brought back the original iron man nostalgia
No need for any warnings. It's a spoiler video
Fans: 📲 So no multiverse?..
*slams phone on ground, stomps skateboard*
This movie is borderline rewatchable. I absolutely hate what they did with Mysterio. I never read the comics, but do you know how much cooler it would have been if he was real and the elementals were too??? That reveal that Beck is an average guy is so stupid and a lame excuse for a plot twist. I found many plot holes as well. If everything is just caused by the drones, how did Peter get wet, etc.? The action and visual effects are great though. 6/10

Happy: “how does cap do this” 💀💀
I loved how Betty went from a nothing character to someone that was actually kind of important
Haven’t seen it yet so I’m going to have to skip this video but I’ll leave a like anyway
Love how you review, you see the bad, the good and the mixed. It’s a really complete and well thought opinion. Love it.
I’m hoping that mysterio is still alive and maybe his actual endgame is still to come in a future movie
Yung Sooty yeah and if they wanna do a sinister six movie in the future they need him
Another part where they poked fun at comics was when Flash was reading the Buzzfeed theory about the water elemental. That was the actual origin of Hydro-man.
Far from home is awesome!!!!!
