This should be the format for ALL Bass tournaments!! "Weigh and release on the spot" will save more fishes lives and could be the best conversation technique in the history of B.A.S.S. I would bet any biologist would agree. I hope someone from B.A.S.S. or FLW or both are reading this now. Save 'Em for the kids!! Love all y'all fisherman out there!!
Watching this BASS channel has helped me catch more fish by showing me baits that I dont use. It also helped me decide not to pursue bass fishing tourneys when I retire. I've been a Bomb Tech for the past 20 years and I have come to the realization that professional bass fishing is too risky. I'm just going to focus on my youtube channel. I'm up to 20 subscribers now. WOOOHOOO.
LOL it looks like one. I watched it several times but I bet it is the shadow from the drone or some sort of camera caused illusion. The tail never moves.
This is how all tourneys should be, weigh release. I was at a local tourney in summer last year and half the fish, not kidding half or more were floating belly up when released at weigh in
It's against the rules to use a net on the Elite Series and at the Bassmaster Classic. Because there's no one in the boat to help land it with a net, and because Ray Scott believed it made landing bass more challenging. - Sara
Not bashing this format at all and I understand that it saves a lot more fish. Here is the problem with making this the format for all tournaments. In the end the spectators attend these events to see the fish. It just doesn't have the snap and zing of seeing these huge bags come up on stage. I know they bring the biggest one back to the scales but it still doesn't have the same effect. Long story short is they will lose fans right or wrong they will lose fans. Fans pay the bills period. They buy the products they pay the money etc etc. The money comes from the fans. Even the sponsor money comes from the fans originally. When they lose fans they will lose money and that is the bottom line. Its all about the money in the end. Just my opinion.

this is the most unique bass fishing event
So did they have to be 21 inches? Several fishes got counted that shouldn't have
I dont know the rules and Im wondering why no one uses a net?
