Ordered one for my wife about two weeks ago. Delivery due around the end of May… She picked it over the X3 M40i because she liked/preferred the smaller footprint and lower dashboard, allowing her to navigate the smaller SUV around tight spots/spaces. Her peripheral view/sight is poor.😅 We looked at the MB & Audi competitors and the BMW is just such a much nicer/cooler small SUV! The Porsche Macan (4 Cylinder) is just too underpowered & overpriced, IMO. YMMV. Nice review. Cheers/B
Good because this vehicle is still very new and has a new engine and transmission who knows what problems at my house. A DCT is not known to be reliable. The x3 is the best option.
From several sources I found, the M35i X1 adds a limited slip front differential. Then I assume xdrive handles front/rear distribution and brake-based torque vectoring. Mine's finally on the way to the dealer, loaded up on a truck at the Baltimore port today. I ordered it back on January 15th (dealer allocation), portimao blue M35i with oyster interior. I would have been happy with the 28i but they stopped allowing the M sport appearance on the 28i, at least at that time.
Looks good. Thinking about changing my car having owned an FPace V6 S for a few yrs which i love but the tech is now outdated. The X5 is just too big for my liking so this seems a great choice.
I’m curious, do most BMW drivers lease their vehicles? I dont think I can justify buying one due to cost of ownership past 3 years. Hence, I’m looking to lease. I dont drive more than 10,000 miles a year.
I bought my X5. Cost of ownership is cheap especially in warranty. I’m sure a lot more people buy than lease, but I bought a used one with a great factory warranty. I’d never lease, but that’s just me. I’d rather be able to sell the car and recoup money from the sale.

If you have to have an SUV, besides the X3 this is the best looking one on the road.
Just a sharp looking ride.
Yeah I agree, it has a nice look to it.
I hopefully someday, I can buy this new SUV.
Wait a few years so sales can increase right now the leases are insane. My mom wanted it but they wanted over 700 36 month lease. Like the X3 insane
Keep working towards it!
Just buy one lol, I’d never lease.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed bruhhhh
@@RealKevGotEm a lease is like rent, you just throw money away.

Thanks for sharing!
Great video!
Thanks!
That flap opened looks so much better.
The what?
Looks very nice❤
It's a sharp looking suv!
CORRECTION: At 05:00, those are the USB-C charge ports beneath the rear air vents, not the climate control.
Of course I misspoke on that..
This car is beautiful
Great option for sure
I have a complaint on low profile tires. It too skinny tires for streets and rural roads where pots hole are 4 inches
Yeah, that's really with any tire for the most part in situations like that!

The exhaust sounds like a Mazda except the Mazda doesn’t have pops and burbles
Then it doesn’t sound the same 😂
@ it does tho lmao
@@RealKevGotEm I don’t think so.

The engine noise is fake. Unfortunately it's piped in.
Some of it is, but from the outside that’s not fake.
It’s BMW, the HP is wheel hp and not crank. I bet it will beat any American suv with the same hp rating.
Yeah seems like BMW underrates all their cars
@@BrosFOURRSpeedthis is true, the car doesnt seems like 314hp at all, more like ≈340
Ça fait dégueu le liseret rouge sur le volant 😲🤔🫣...??
I like it!
