I love the design and features. I can think of many shallow areas you can visit to reach good fishing places in the Florida Everglades. I would add a roof to gat away from the sun. Other than that it looks like a lot of fun
the sun is not good for you, its good for you to a degree or bad enough to kill you. it also heats you up which is a godsend in some places/instances and terrible in others. on a boat like this, and this is a boat, you might as well add some sort of pop up shade.

It seems SeaDoo is starting to add features that are superficial and only for freshwater fishing which is unfortunate. The kayak companies did the same thing. They took their fishing machines and made them all tug boats with lounge chairs.
See that’s been my issue with kayak gear coming out the past couple years. Glad I’m not the only one feeling that way. I’m down here on the Texas coast and a fishpro seems to be a better route but am afraid of that. Can you get pretty shallow with a sandy bottom? And how does it do on those sketchy, rough days on the bay?
@@tylerguild489 for the sea doo they don't recommend you have the motor running in under 3 feet of water or the intake could suck in sand and pebbles and wreck the carbon seal (keeps water out of the hull). Ive already had to replace the seal after i sucked up my anchor rope. As far as stability in the bay I've only felt uncomfortable once and that was like 3' tight chop. Just wasn't fun fishing on it in that stuff.
@@mehmetdtx you can't run them in less than three feet of water or else you run the risk of sucking up pebbles. I did it two weeks ago while beach launching and it ended my trip.

I'm very interested in the170 trophy, I have ap120 & Kaku zula pd, will upgrade to rodan 55thrust 36" shaft. This trophy 170 would make an awesome addition teaching youth in my program fishing, boating, kayaking, & now pwc. Adult toys are great want to go offshore and deepdrop w electrics
Just need a trolling motor. Starting the motor will scare fish also the wind will blow you out of position in seconds. Anyone docking a jet ski knows once the motor is of you going everywhere.
This is a great price for what you get out of it. Running a full size boat around is nice but then typically you need a bigger SUV or Truck and a boat launch. Kayaks are nice too but for faster rivers and ocean bays I'd much prefer to have this little machine To bad I'm a poor shore fisherman.
@@billdeprospero8666 it wasn't all mine haha. But the boat cost 2500 plus 4 rods and 3 sets of gear. Captain didn't listen to the storm warning and stayed out fishing. Then the trolling motor died and the gas motor decided to not start. Nobody had floating bags for gear etc. It all sunk
@@somewhereinagalaxyfarfaraway I re-read it 3x ... where did he say anything about anything inflatable? Kayak's are not inflatables. They are rigid bodies with a flotation layer in them. In other words, they float even when overturned, unlike an open body boat. They are not inflatables.
That looks cool but why did they wast the large cooler space for a bait tank. They should come up with a small compartment bait tank elsewhere on the vessel and keep that cooler for the and catch and cold beverages. I have both on my kayak surely they can do this on the sea do.

My Husband who is disabled & has only a left arm is wondering can these be used one handed? i'e left hand. He loves to fish but can only do so out to sea as he cannot cast. probably something he can ill afford too as i'm sure they are very pricey. wish ?I could afford to buy him one, as he's always happy when out fishing, but I worry as his wife and carer when he is out on a pedal kayak as I know he struggles with it
Anything is possible but it would take a lot of work and redesigning as this unit has 2 different finger levers to pull, one on each side of the handlebars. One controls your throttle and the other controls forward, neutral and reverse. I'm sure there is some way to be able to get both on one side. Thanks for watching!
If you're going deep-sea fishing you will want the cooler to be rounded this way your bait don't die first of all can it handle being on the Sea-Doo game tugged on the line like tuna or is it made for Small Rockfish type fish
Good call, Use a smaller cooler for the catch and drinks, then add your own round 5 gal. live well. I like this thing better than a kayak because you can stand, and sit easier, and move around. I like being in contact with the water, but also covering lots of ground fast. I’m not a big fan of the engine noise. It’s easy to drive up on shore and fish from shore or take a break from the water. This is a great fishing machine with just enough adventure and fun. Too bad these things universally piss everyone off, like a Segway on the water or something. I can imagine drifting up and catching fish just out of reach of a bunch of shore anglers and them trying to peg you with lead weights.
@@michaelnice93 went with one of my friends and the time when he's bait got smashed around on the square cooler end up dying would have been nice they made it a little bit more wider maybe a little bit more longer this way the seat is sit little bit more lower or the bigger game fish if you go deep sea fishing

I have no issues with my tug boat in the ocean.

The cooler set up would make much more sense if it had a removable divider so I can keep bait on one side and ice my fish and beer on the other.

The backrest can't be installed on the seat when the seat isn't on the pedestal
