I love the stability of the Seadoo but I've seen too many get cracks in the hull. One recently from a high speed turn & it opened up like a sardine tin.

Could that Shade Extension be configured on the Switch Compact 13ft ?? (2:37) If so where to get one??

Its bad enough having to pay 40 bucks for a regular can that pisses me off but now I get to pay over 200 for a can that REALLY pisses me off. Why can't we create product worth having anymore?

How can you thoroughly flush the system in only a short amount of time as to not damage the carbon seal? I think seadoo is 2 minutes max. Is that enough time to really flush out all the salt

Yeah the strap is pulling it forward and down. And if you got a rear strap on there it won't go anywhere.

Only run it max 30sec out of water with the hose hooked up, it’s a closed loop cooling system.

I have a 2024 switch sport 21/230 and have 5.5 hours and getting IBR module error. I got it twice. If I turn off boat and let it shut all the way off and then restart it it’s fine I have never gotten it twice in one trip. It’s at dealer but they don’t seem confident about it. Was curious if you have any insight. Thanks.

Question, if its bad to start the engine with water going to it, why isnt it a problem to turn the ski off/on when in the water?

Hmm. I’ve only ever had a plug on the left side and was told left was drain. Crazy. I’ve left my machines in the lake for weeks at a time and no problem with my 3up. Just watching this bcuz I unscrewed the plugs at the end of the year in a hurry so I greased the bearings and left ( darn kids had me sidetracked ) I’ll blame it on that but yep when I got home 3 hours later plugs were gone

I've had my about a year and a half now and many times i have trouble starting it (sometimes I have to crank it several different times before it catches and hat i mean by catches it almost starts but doesn't) it almost seems like it loses its prime (but after 3 to 5 cranks it does start and runs great (but i never get that beep when I twist my throttle forward). I'm a small engine mechanic but can't figure this out, maybe you have an idea. I don't want to mess with it as long as I can get it to start but if you have a good idea I might try it

I have a seadoo gti 170se (2023) standing from the back I have a hose hole on the left and a hose hole on the right ,..I have 1 drain plug it has a screw cap its on the right side ....do I have to unscrew the drain plug cap while Im flushing ? ...why does my sea doo have 2 hose holes , just use either side?

Just got a Sea-Doo switch, already own a Spark. I do my own maintenance on all my vehicles and have been doing so for 20 years. The fact that Sea-Doo doesn’t have labels on the boat for these ports, which are identical, is reprehensible. There are labels all over the boat, but no label for the ports. Ya it’s in the manual, but if it’s important and/or confusing, you label it on the boat. Ridiculous. I made my own.

does the water go through a heat exchanger to cool the coolant , like in inboard boats?

When it says up to 10in tablet does that include if you put a 10in tablet in a waterproof case? Like it'll fit the tablet with its bulky case?
