Hiya I like your videos and is interested in the UV printer. Could you let me know whether I can print A4 size objects on this printer.

Hello Angela! Love your videos! Can you make a video doing a name on a small tumbler? I know you can’t use the rotary, but I wonder if you can just print on one side.

Hello, I'm enjoying the video. Can I use it at home? I'm worried about the smell or noise.

Hi, I have mine in my home office. When the door is shut the noise is comparable to someone watching TV inside. When not in use there is no sound, only for a couple of minutes every 6-8 hours as it refreshes the heads automatically. As far as smell, as long as the unit is closed in printing there's not really a smell. I have vinyl rolls in this room and that smells a bit more noticeably than the UV printer.

Do you need to apply a seal coat on wooden coasters since there is no gloss option in the bd-8?

Hi there, the CMYK UV ink is water resistant so it isn't an issue on the coaster that I have

What made you to purchase the flatbed printer? Do you think this printer prints out in high resolution? Have you try to print real life picture?

Hello! I printed some photos on acrylic for mother's day and they came out very nice quality. I'll try to make video on this.

How did you solve the overspray issue on the sides of the product?

The overspray doesn't really happen when the object is not thick. This coaster is about a quarter inch thick. It mostly happens on taller objects. I hope that helps :)

I’m really considering getting this😅 your videos are the only ones I can find on it but have been really pushing me to just go for it. I run a sticker shop on ig & have been saving for over 6 months for a large format printer that I don’t have the room for 😆
But this could work and open up a whole other avenue for me. It’s very scary tho 😣

Thank you for watching! I started off with a sticker shop as well and UV was so intimidating at first. I kept asking a lot of questions because I was so nervous whether I could even understand it lol. There is learning curve for setting up the item in the printing bed but I had experience using a laser cutting machine which was similar. If you have many inquiries or customers who want this type of printing it might be worth getting - but definitely worth looking into more! :) I'm glad that this smaller UV printer is not very finicky I haven't had any headaches with it so far.
