If you can find a Krispy kream location where the doughnuts are made on site they're very good but the several day old grocery store ones are horrible.
Facts!! Those doughnuts have sooooo many calories though! I live close to a Krispy Kreme but I never go because they give great deals on 2 dozen doughnuts and I refuse to bring 100,000 calories into my life 🤤🤤😭😭
MACHETE BECAME A COOK 😱!!! I've always been a trejo fan since runaway train, desperado and from dusk till dawn. He and Bruce Campbell are my favorites to watch
Loved the video. My fave fruit filled doughnuts are at Sweetwaters Donut Mill in Kalamazoo,Michigan, but they can only be had on Paczi Day, which is the Polish equivalent of Mardi Geas. I love the raspberry filled ones
One of my weaknesses is the donut. Fresh and warm, I love them almost all. ( I draw my line at the supermarket, prepackaged little cake donuts, just nope!). BUT, I have dropped in on some family owned and operated shops that are extraordinary. Their jelly filled are absolutely sinful. The fruits are fresh and still firm enough to identify. The jellies are homemade. The bread melts in your mouth. The buttercream and cheese will make you just Ooooo, Yeahhhh… as you close your eyes and sigh. Here’s my test. I buy and eat cold an apple fritter. If the bread crunches, then melts, and the apple chunks are fresh, still firm enough, taste immediately of apple, and plenty… well, it’s probably good shop. If you can’t taste the apple…turn around, walk out. Spend your money else where. Texas
Just got a small coffee and a donut a couple of days ago and the donut was $2.00 the small coffee $3.00 ! I remember a few months ago a donut was about 55 cents and a small coffee was about $1.45 !!! A lot of inflation !!!
Love Danny Trejo as an individual. He’s not the best actor, but damn if he doesn’t show you can flip your script. Sometimes being a decent person just takes a little decency coming your way; second chances and whatnot.
The Best Donuts around are at Supreme Donuts in Brockton Massachusetts! It’s still the old time ingredients and had not changed as long as I’ve been around and I’m 52. :)
In Chicagoland they call jelly donuts Bismarcks. We have a German bakery called Fleckensteins. They have fluffy pillows stuffed to the max with not so sweet apricot preserves that are coated with powdered sugar. I stopped buying them by the dozen as I was putting on the pounds. I limit myself to two donuts a week(or less). I think I'll go in the morning to get a couple.
@@denasharpe2393 I don't think they have any to ship. It's a family run bakery so unless you go there early they won't have what you desire. I'll eat a Dunkin or Krispy Kreme but I'd rather have a Fleckensteins!
Winchell's and Dunkin are a world above Krispy Kreme and Shipley's. The latter are two southern brands; Krispy Kreme does have the finest donuts in the world, if you have a local store and you can get the glazed right off the conveyor belt. But as to jellies and specialties, KKreme is really deficient. Shipley's too don't have the finesse of Dunkin which somehow can produce so many types so well in so many locations.
For me, krispy kream donuts are the best, and shipley's donuts are second place. They're both so good! But I'm talking about their donuts in general, not JUST the jelly filled.
Krispy Kreme way too mainstream for me rather do local bakery through and through because they stand out unlike the basic glazed donut .. people who say it’s good obviously dunno what quality is
Krispy Kreme is the most over rated donut in the world . They should be at the bottom of every list. Anyone on your list is head and shoulders above Krispy Kreme
Dunkin is getting worse and worse, that’s all we have in our little town and, there’s no where to get a good jelly filled donut. I grew upon good old fashioned powered donuts filled with raspberry jelly. I’m dying for one, cause, I haven’t had one in so, long.
Most modern day donuts are too sweet and greasy. I am fond of a jelly donut that is crafted like most were in the 60-70's. More flour and less jelly- even early Duncans had this formula.. The only place that I know that today sells this recipe is Winn Dixie a grocer in Southeast US
I grew up on Dunkin (Donuts) but when they stopped making them in store the brand really took a nosedive. Top Pot is good but $25 for a dozen donuts is ridiculous. Krispy Kreme is good if you get them when the Hot Now sign is on, otherwise they're no better than supermarket donuts. I really want to take a drive down to Portland sometime and visit the original Voodoo Donuts and "Hang a Fang" on a ODB. Sh**, now I want donuts. Stupid Mashed videos.
Krispy Kreme does one thing supremely: hot glazed. Everything else is really mediocre. Shipley has similar ho-hum donuts. Dunkin has no specialty, but all of their donuts have consistent quality. Their jelly donuts (some of which are made when you order them, esp. at night...they're jellied up that is) range from jelly to various flavors and come in powder or raised sugar form. Best of all, whereas Krispy Kreme glazed are great for about 1 hour, Dunkin's jelly can be refrigerated and packed for lunch the next day...
You missed the best donuts in the world, bar none. Royal Bake Shop in tiny Centerville, SD has donuts that can top all the ones you list. Try them, you will agree.
What do you think is the best place to get donuts from?
Dunkin
Kwik trip is pastry-centric, they see every cop in town.
If you can find a Krispy kream location where the doughnuts are made on site they're very good but the several day old grocery store ones are horrible.
Soooooo true!! Pas by their baking locations...if the light is on...fresh donuts are rolling out so get there as soon as you can!!! Yum
Uh, yeah!! I totally agree

Amazing narration job Allie James!
“These donuts are great, jelly filled is my favourite, nothing beats a jelly filled donuts!”
If you are in Abilene TX you have to stop at AM Donuts
Krispy Kreme raspberry jelly donut is one of my all time favorite donuts. A good balance of sweet and tart.
Nothing beats Freshly baked donuts 🍩
Massive sugar rush after watching the video.
BLUE STAR!! You guys dropped the ball there!!

@@Iam123-i5j Locals refer to the greater Chicago area as Chicago-land.
You find a great place to buy the donuts you love stay, with it.
eating a Donut make me feel lethargic afterwards.
You gotta try Duck Donuts! It's a must!

In Medford. Massachusetts...Try the "Glazed Jelly" @ "Donuts With A Difference" in Medford Square on Riverside Avenue..!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Has anyone ever had a Krispy Kreme donut that was actually crispy?
Krispy Kreme way too mainstream for me rather do local bakery through and through because they stand out unlike the basic glazed donut .. people who say it’s good obviously dunno what quality is
We have a local bakery that makes jelly doughnuts filled with raspberry jelly and then dusted with cinnamon sugar
No thanks. I will pass.
I like jellies, but Boston Cream is my fav
Some of these shops are non existent everywhere.......
I like it
Krispy Kreme should have been somewhere in the middle of the ranking. They're nothing really special.

The best jelly doughnut is from the mess hall
I totally HATE jelly donuts. Cannot handle the texture. The only place I want jelly is on my toast or PBJ sandwich.

Voodoo is ok, very expensive
Definitely not worth waiting in a long line for

A hard pass on your top spot. Way too sugary.
