C&NW 8678 gets a night time crew change, Davis, CA. 7/28/1999

We are on the station platform of the ex-SP mainline around midnight at Davis California as a short west bound TOFC comes in for a crew change. The fresh crew is on, and they pull out of the station with CNW 8678 and UP 6345. As they accelerates west, there is a lot of horn blowing, and then an east bound lights up the rails as he passes the hind end of trailer train. God bless the United States of America.
