jeff stanton come from behind ride to claim the win for usa was incredible,he was so much faster by a large margin than everybody else after going down a few times and then charging to the front.
He crashed right in the s-turn in the back of the Pack where i Was standing with my mom....she leaned over the fence and yelled at him to get up and fight!!!! I will never forget that moment😢❤
The best sport event I have ever been! What I remember like it was yesterday: Everts was so fluid, efficient and fast on his 125, also Beirer. Kiedrowski got a lesson in riding sand. Unbelievably battle between Bradshaw and Bervoets. USA was done but then Stanton warmed up. It felt like he needed 2 motos to get on temperature, yes he was the fittest man out there.

Jeff Stanton was incredible during his stint on USA teams - should have won a 500 national championship but the KX 500 was just better
