Thanks! Yeah, I think it might have to do with the fact that the tabs aren't really correct when it comes to the solo, and I had to tab a lot by ear myself. Most people probably can't be arsed doing that! Ah, cool! I can imagine, since I always thought of it as perhaps the most accessible of their songs. It's pretty groovy, not too technical, and has a pretty unique and signature verse riff. Glad to hear you liked it!
I'm a huge Atheist fan, and back when I listened to them all the time, Cynic was recommended to me in some way, I can't remember how. Anyway, I had to check them out of course, and while it's certainly interesting, it didn't get me hooked. Maybe it was the auto-tuned vocals that were too strange for me (yeah, maybe I didn't give them an honest chance...).
yeah i hate those robotic vocals, but i always get used to vocals so i have no problems anymore with them. check their song textures, its instrumental so no problems. its one of my favorite songs and its very beautiful. what i like so much about them are the guitar riffs, principaly on textures, veil of maya and celestial voyage. i thought it would be great for you to cover them, since is a band that i like very much(yeah their first album, reallly) and its very technical and you cover alot of tech stuff.
