AND this weekend (Sunday 13 October) will be the tenth annual Broken Peach Halloween Special. For those interested in more than the Halloween vids, the album Welcome To Brokenland dropped in May and is all original material. Five singles- I've Got the Fire, Give It Up, Like A Gale, I Miss You, and Dancefloor- were released in the two year runup to the album drop and are on the band's YT channel.
Quote of the day from David: "There is so much fun" Yes there are. What has happened earlier today? Tommy J covered a power ballad from Scorpions. VoicePlay covered Thriller Bass Gang coverer Ghost Busters ft Peter Hollens And at the end of the day, my time, now this reaction from you.😅❤😊
I remember last year when you first checked them out. My husband has been a huge Broken Peach fan for a while and introduced me to them at about the same time I introduced him to VoicePlay. I don't see many reactors cover them, so I was excited to find that you have discovered this Spanish group. I'm so glad you're giving them another look. They are so energetic and have plenty beyond their Halloween covers.
And now, I know what the word "Ballyhoo" means 🙂 I think what creates the feeling of cohesiveness along with the individuality is because all of their movements are: a) of the same "size"/dynamic, and b) all happening on the beat. Also, I think the staccato (for want of a better word) nature of their movement fits their skeleton aesthetic more than more "flowing" or sinuous movements would.

David, for a bit of extra fun in your wee bit of spare time, check out a creator "Broken Glass Projections" "Halloween featuring Broken Peach"
Too much opening exposition. Rest of video was excellent.
