Loved this! Thanks so much for taking the time to not just react but really analyze the track and notice all the details and intricacies .. I really had fun watching this! 🙌🏻 I bet if you did an analysis for my This Is Halloween cover it 'd be like 2 hours long (I would watch all of it lol)
Thank YOU, Marwan - this was a lot of fun to look at! I will absolutely get to your This is Halloween - very excited to see what you do with that! Glad that you enjoyed my analysis. :-)
I loved this. I'm so glad you decided to check out one of Marwan's solo projects. Can you believe that he was 18 when he did it, and he did EVERYTHING. It's too late for this Halloween but even so you might want to do Marwan's cover of "This is Halloween" In 30 Styles. It was last year's Halloween song, and it is mind blowing and fun.
💜I'm SO glad you did a reaction to one of Marwan Ayman's productions! I *love* his arrangements and productions. He seems to come out with a Halloween special about every year. Last year's was brilliant. Thank you so much! As far as I know, this is a completely solo production. Marwan did the arrangement, the recordings (both vocals and videos), the mixing, the mastering, and the video editing. BTW, he was (I think) 18 when he did this. 💜
Marwan is starting to build up his catalogue of Halloween videos. There's a Spooky Skeletons from his very young days and last year he made This Is Halloween in 30 styles. A very good work I can assure. At his start as a YT artist he had Peter Hollens as a patreon and I think he has picked up a fact or two from him along the way. Marwan Is always very good on visuals. He is often the one editing the Bass Gang videos. A tip is that often the number of persons visualised on screen compares to the layers of voices. And he is also known for frequent use of belltones in his arrangements. It's often fun to watch his shorts where he shows off his 'build-ups'.
Thank you for explaining the different chords. Starting to put names to different parts helps me hear it a little better. Marwan's vocal and artistic maturity astounds me, sometimes. He was all of 18 when he arranged and sang this! And yes: it's a defining feature of videos he edits that you will see the face of every voice you hear. If someone is being multi-tracked, you'll absolutely know it. That's one reason why I've been looking forward to you discovering his work, because the visuals are just as important as the music.

Love Marwan's solo stuff (and The Bass Gang stuff too). He puts so much time and effort into his projects and it really shows.

Great analysis! I love your musical theory explanations! With your love of negative space, you'll love his cover of "Get Down"!
21:33 ... close enough? 😅
Thanks David 😊
I'll take it!
Nicely done. I wouldn't have watched it otherwise.
