    The impressive thing about Ohtani is that he's not perfect, but he's constantly improving.
    He's better than last year and almost a completely different player from the year before!
    Don't know how good he'll be this post season, but I'm fully confident that next year, he's gonna hit the likes of Tanner Scott, etc.
    Dodgers...to have him for the next 10 years should be an incredible treat!

    Ohtani just missed two HRs in first NLCS game so swinging well, but may need to alter his launch angle a little bit for a bit more lift. He just couldn’t pickup the release point well for the really tough quarter/side armers tanner and Manea. He has also been taking more walks so not expanding too much. I think he will be fine though.

  • @clutch0123
    @clutch0123 Месяц назад +1

    I'm pretty confident the Dodgers will win this series. No need to panick.
    Ohtani is Ohtani. He's not perfect. He hits well the third time around against starting pitchers. He's smart and good at reading the pitcher's mind.
    On the other hand he's a bit weak when facing pitchers he doesn't know too well.
    Darvish had his number because Darvish out-smarted him, I think. Maybe you could say that Ohtani was thinking too much when facing Darvish.
    Even the best hitters only hit 30% of the time. Baseball is a team sport. The team as a whole needs to attack the pitcher. The Dodgers are fine. They're a great team!
    And Roberts has something to do with that!

    Shohei will have to sort out his hitting quick. If your manager has to answer non-stop questions on your hitting or the lack thereof, you know things are bad because numbers don't lie. The good news for Mookie as he told the media is he worked his tail off to get out of the funk by hitting over 300 balls in the cage everyday. But, here is the point, forget about what the media and the fans have to say, Shohei will have to start hitting again to get out of his slump because if the Dodgers want to advance to the World Series, they will absolutely need Shohei's performance and contribution at the plate.

      They did not go into this season planning on having knack be a post season starter. They are at this point because their other options are injured. Buehler has been looking shaky and they wanted to do the bullpen game before the travel day so they'd be fresh if needed soon. They never did end up needing to use their high leverage guys, but hindsight is 20/20. As for yamamoto... he was on 2 days of rest yesterday, why on earth would they start him? It is called the clean up spot because over 100 years it is proven for your power hitter to most likely drive the most runs from there. Shohei the 700 mil, 54 hr and soon to be 3 time MVP belongs in that spot or third to protect him from that targeted pitching. RUNS WIN GAMES, not more at bats.
