    That's awesome that we have people test test these all these attachments but when I see people using an $8.5k tree clipper on a tree that any CTL can easily just push over with a bucket 🤣(and the bucket brings up the stump most of the time). Kinda like delivering newspapers in an Abrams.

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  Год назад

      Sure, but that is not what you buy this for. You buy it to trim limbs that you can’t reach any other way.
      Now, if you already have it and it’s already on your machine, you might trim some small stuff along the ground too
      Also, if you push it over and you do that on a bunch of them, you have to go back and fill them all in.
      It’s personal preference.

    Good morning Brock. Very cool attachment. We could hear it in your voice, how happy you are with the performance. A bit of overkill for my needs, but an amazing tool for those who have a lot of trees to cut or trim.
    I always learn something from your videos. Take care, Ben

    Impressive piece of equipment! No chains to dull. I use a chainsaw to clear trails and try to cut the trees off as low as possible. The chainsaw often comes in contact with the ground unintentionally. With this, you could place the cutter right on the ground and shear the tree off at ground level. My wish list is growing almost every time I watch one of your videos! 😊

      Yes sir. I think your machine could handle the mini clip.

    Good morning, Brock. I think that this attachment is something that is very useful around a place like yours where you have those trees up on the hill. You would be able to take a lot of the scrub trees down to the ground and clear a lot of limbs to make room so your equipment would fit through there a lot easier without running into them. Also, with all the rocks it would make a lot more sense to just cut them off at ground level and not worry about the small stumps. Just one old man's opinion. God bless and have a great day. 👍

    if your looking to trim tree limbs a polesaw is the way to granted it will wear you out faster than running a chainsaw

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  Год назад +1

      Yeah, sounds like a lot of fun cleaning up a mile of fence line with a pole saw.
      You can do it but if you have a skid loader, I would use this attachment instead.

    I thought you said if you raise the boom that high into the sky, it makes the machine lean forward, or the attachment is not that heavy for the skid steer?

  • @johncoleman8793
    @johncoleman8793 Год назад +1

    What does the cut look like from the tree’s perspective? Is it clean or ragged?

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  Год назад +2

      Pretty clean. It is a straight cut.
      I will show that next time

    • @T_Humphries
      @T_Humphries Год назад

      Probably would be a smooth cut until the weight of the limb caused the remainder of the cut to tear apart. You could cut the bulk of the limb to remove the weight and then make a final cut with no weight hanging on it to leave as a smooth finish cut

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  Год назад +2

      Yes, making a series of cuts along the limb to remove weight is the smartest way to do it

    Pole saw and your done and have the ability to extend the pole saw to reach. This is just another gimmick attachment.
