I love history, I love strategy games, I enjoy this a lot. Thank you. I still remember reading Heredotus like 20 years ago, it was like listening to my grandpa's stories about the past. I love how your narrative style gives me similar vibes.
Defeated? No there was no 'defeat'. The King marched, out won some battles and then after showing Dur who's the true King in the Region went back Home.
Note that to do court actions you need to gossip with other court members to gain favour which you then spend on plots or requests - gossipping is free and you can do it once per turn.
Gossip doesn't sound very kingly lol, but I will try to investigate more deeply. I know Babylon gets some sort of diplo bonus, but I want to talk about cultural influence once the campaign is on a bit firmer footing.
@@entirelyalive I suspect they couldn't think of a better word, but it basically represents building political influence and sway over the others which you can then exercise for the aforementioned favours and requests. You can even get them to join plots with it against other court members.

Thank you. My views are not great, but as long as people are enjoying it I plan to continue the series.
This is fun. Something very unique!

You have a bright future ahead of you as a Mesopotamian Royal Scribe.
@@entirelyalive Thanks; I need a new court position since Caesar kicked me from his court.

Is there any great books for beginners about ancient Mesopotamia?
Yeah, with court when your faction becomes the Supreme Ruler, they get 2 court spots in the game.
