- Andrew Gillum spoke outside the U.S. Northern District of Florida courthouse, Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Tallahassee after a jury found him not guilty of providing false statements to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and deadlocked on federal charges against Gillum and Sharon Lettman-Hicks related to fraud and conspiracy.

I truly feel very sad for this man and his families. He did nothing wrong except for challenging Florida Republicans by running for governor of Florida. Republicans do that to black people that are trying to run or in the office for higher public offices. Republicans trying to ruin this man's future.
