Get the FORSCAN cable to plug into your OBD2 port and download the software on a laptop. You can turn off the door and seatbelt warning as well as a lot of other things such as auto lock and make your fog lights stay on with the high beams.

the fords you don't need to lock the hubs unless the auto hubs don't work and if you pull the 4x4 dial it comes with a factory locker for the rear
This one doesn't lock. It only spins 1 tire. Also I put it in 4wd and it still only spun 1 tire in the rear. Gotta lock the hubs. Ain't no auto hubs on this thing that I know of 😂
@@CPSteveMiller yeah mine did the same thing come to find out a vacuum line came disconnected on the auto hub but my hub says lock or auto I can't say the same for yours cause I can't see yours
If you have the selector noob between 2nd and 4wd you pull the knob out to get 2wd posi. That’s what’s on my 2013 f250. Agree on door chime.
Should you have pushed the front of the leaf spring down to match the other side before you tightened the u bolt
Won't make a difference on a ubolt. We're getting a new leaf pack for it so it's all getting redone while the trailer is empty

If you have a scan tool with Bi directional controls you can get rid of the warnings.
The metal bar stock broke. That's why that leaf spring is higher than the other side. There's a metal piece of bar stock that broke. You must weld a new piece in. Don't just replace the leaf Spring it's going to break again.
That's the little triangle piece inside the bracket, right? I made mention of that to the owner before I returned it.
@@CPSteveMiller yes there's a triangle piece up inside The equalizer and then there's a flat piece of bar stock in the rear
You shouldn't have to lock the hubs, you only do it if the vacuum lines aren't working to the hubs.
Idk I was in 4lo and they weren't locking. I was only spinning the rear right
There must be a issue with the vacuum lines to the hubs. Possibly a cracked or broken line.

On my 5th gen Cummins I was still able to do the seatbelt buckle/unbuckle procedure to turn the seatbelt chime off. No dinging whatsoever when my door is open. I would lose my mind with those alarms.
It's not even the seat belt chime though it'll chime over everything 😂😂 The ram is bearable. The Ford just does it to hear itself chime
@@CPSteveMiller there’s no door chime either! Im sure if it was there i turned it off immediately, I’ll have to check the settings. They are making it harder to break in the ecm like the rest though…lol

Do you know how to turn of your seat belt chime with power stroke tech talk w/ARod from RUclips posted a year ago. Is a manual way with button’s and E brake combinations sitting in the driver seat I believe

I was renting my trailer outr after I wnt back into the medical field and got a call one day that this happened on mine. It got fixed and i decided I was not renting it out anymore so when I got it back i went over it and low and behold you could see where they over loaded the trailer and bottomed the wheels out on one side by the endentions it made when it hit.

Slipper box should have a plate welded for the leaf to slip on. You could drill hole for bolt and put pieces of copper pipe for bushing

They sell replacement leaf spring alignment bolts. Im sure the bolt you uses is fine but the replacements are at least case hardened if not grade 8. Ive not seen them snap but usually rusted to nothing.
You can disable the chimes using Forscan by changing some of the codes. Search up How to Disable Chime Ford Superduty.

Bullshit. I worked with what I had. An old truck that always needed work. I only messed with what broke and something was always breaking. Had my credit been better I could've bought a newer truck but I don't. I did my best running my business with only cash and I was very successful at it. I've grossed almost $120k this year with 3 full months to go. Paid off $30k in debt and expenses. Money was never the problem, credit was. I've got $20k sitting in my crypto wallet right now and over $11k owed to me right now from customers plus our savings. I'm doing a lot better than I show in videos and when my credit gets better you'll see the results of that.

They sell a clip that plugs into your seatbelt or cut one out of a junk car n plug it in to your seatbelt...so truck thinks u wearing your seatbelt...I got nothing for door chime unless u can pull the fuse n hope nothing important is on that fuse with it
that’s not a really safe idea for the seatbelts. as far as the chime it’s all part of the body control module that has no fuses
Seat belt won't stop the chime. It comes on for EVERYTHING I hate it. Open the door it goes off no matter what
@@CPSteveMiller hey I know it's not safe...but it works....just what I do cause I hate seatbelts n the chime nvm no light on dash telling me to put on seat belt. I know seatbelts safe lifes....but I also know a friend of mine that the seatbelt killed him. Granted they were driving way to fast in a corvette....the driver was thrown from the car .no seatbelt....passenger wearing seatbelt was trapped in the car n burned up in the fire....would he still be here if he didn't wear the seatbelt....who knows for sure...in my personal car I never wear my seatbelt...but in the big rig I always wear my seatbelt...congrats on the new truck...u work hard n earned it....your work ethic is top notch ....can't wait to see your next rig...you are slowly upgrading and just wanted to let you know as I viewer I notice how far you've come...b4 you know it little man will be driving for you n pulling motors...you're a great teacher and love what you do...I impressed with that motor swap u did. To me that truck was junk...but you did amazing job on that much respect...
