I get to the ‘change’ part of advanced security settings then it pops up with “windows security - can’t open access control editor. Unable to perform a security operation on an object that has no associated security.”

I managed to get access to the folder but for some reason it still says i need administor permission to delete the folder, this happens with Forza Horizon 5, could you help me?

So if we downloaded much apps from MS store, then this folder isn't a big headache, can we ignore this?
This won't matter because it will keep creating that same folder multiple times. I've deleted this folder already a bunch of times on my other drives. It keeps reappearing. There's no MS store apps in there. It just keeps creating that same folder with the same permissions that I cannot delete. I have to do this over and over and over again.

I had forza horizon 4 on my hdd (d partition) and I had to reinstall windows... That stupid windows store or whatever it is called couldn't even attempt to install forza on d again, it got all wacked up,

I've followed the procedure. I dont want to delete the entire WindowsApps folder, there is a specific game folder inside it which I want to delete. When I try to delete it I get this popup "You need permission to perform this action. You require permission from Everyone to make changes to this folder."

This process didn't work for me. I was having a WindowsApps folder from a previous windows installationn and that was not being deleted even with the permissions/security properties being changed as per this video.
So I booted into an Ubuntu live USB and deleted the folder from the file manager there, and after restarting windows, I'm able to install new apps to D: drive
I've installed a game through the xbox app and there was an error now game th game wont show but files are 50gb I have done all the steps but it is saying i need permission from everyone to delete files in the WindowsApps folder, please help ;(

Does this method work on deleting Windows folders from an external drive? I'm on Win11. I had copied my Win10 hard drive to an external drive and got rid of the old computer. Now I'm trying to clean up the external drive by removing some of the Windows folders.
I am still not able to delete that folder. I installed Oracle 21c in Windows D and that folder admin was created. Everything related to Oracle 21c got deleted but "admin" foler is not getting deleted. How to delete that as well?
It worked but when restarting the computer, they comeback. Also, after deleting, xbox gamepass can no longer find the drive. Help
I put the system in c drive and i got the file in d drive so i delete it that will not make proplem right?

How do i undo this? I wanted it back but now apps that are being installed in the "windowsapps" folder needs to be confirmed by me. How can i lose my ability to open the folder?
So im trying to delete the windowsapp folder because I'm having a problem where the xbox app didnt let me update Halo Infinite and then for some reason it disappear from the xbox app and also the Apps & Features but I found out that the files are still on my drive with a folder named "Microsoft.254428597CFE2_1.3308.47340.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe" and its using like 61gb.
Now I did all the steps showed in this video and I still get a message saying Folder Access Denied You require permission from Everyone to make changes to this folder (followed by the folder I mentioned above that is Halo Infinite).
Does this will also delete the original WindowsApps folder in c drive?

It's in the E drive i.e External hard-disk. After going to advanced settings and clicking change. It doesn't open.
Wow, this actually worked! Thank you. I could finally delete Forza Horizon 4 Demo, downloaded a long ago. The title didn't show up in the Xbox app anymore and I could not free up the space FH4 demo was taking up.
