I'm 1000% certain these Ryobi ads would get more attention if they went with Clint's version!
Hahaha, thanks Greg 🤣👊
Wow I could feel the emotion like I was there.
It was a powerful moment
Those camping pictures gave me the vibe of a modern day re-imagining of "Deliverance".
Oof. I was excited seeing the price of the converter. But the battery is $900.
I guess it's still cheaper and smaller than the Milwaukee option. But damn.
Thanks for another awesome video Clint!
And thank you for another awesome comment James!!!!
That 80V power source looks awesome but the price for it and the battery is not so awesome, for the MSRP I might as well get a Honda generator.
Smeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽
As always, thanks for the comment and SMEEESH Jason!!!!!!!!!
And one for you my friend because you work so hard on these videos! ;)
Hahaha thanks James!!!!
You too funny man! Like how you were cracking up talking about grouchy Ryobi guy having no friends in the end😂
Haha, thanks 80 👊👊👊
i didnt realize how expensive the batteries are
Yeah it's nuts...
You can get a Honda suitcase super quiet gas generator for the same money.
In my opinion it's way too much money for what it is.
Hilarious video Clint. Your expressions are much better! 😂
I just thought they fit the mood 🤣👊
I didn’t know Ryobi sold toilets. Thanks for clarifying their ad.
$900 for a battery is insane. Who do they think they are, Milwaukee? 😂
Hahaha
Love your vids, good info on the products but also damn funny 👌
Thanks jman!!!
11:20 Clint confusing stripper with the striper. One takes her clothes off, the other makes lawn stripes…ie..”stripe-er”😂
🫣☺️☺️☺️
LMAO!!! at the pics. That is awesome!!!
Ryobi needs to start making 16 inch, 18v or 40v oscillating fan. Summer is coming up quick so…That would be real nice like!!!
I like your take on this. I have an ecoflow so this would not be worth the cost for me. Fun video. Good job.
Best video editing ever
Hahaha 😂
Still waiting to get my hands on Ryobi mobile speed station.
I sent Ryobi a ton of product ideas and they didn't seem interested at all. Honestly I think most would sell even though they may be a bit ridiculous.
1. Ryobi Denailer. Same as their nailgun, except a piston to set or remove the nails from the back side.
2. A small drill on the new lithium platform. You're not drilling 2" holes, but smaller pilot holes very doable
3. Ryobi 18V can crusher. yeah it's dumb, but I bet all of you would buy it and so would I.
4. inverter for the lithium line making it a small power bank. There are times this would be handy for getting a small charge in a phone.
5.expand the hand tools. Hammers, axes, hatchets, prybars, and ,ore than the janky 2 folding knives they offer.
6. take the hobby knife with quick change right back to the drawing board. I invented the retractable X-acto one. They told me "no thank you" and then made it anyway.
7. expanding into more camping related items. More lights, string lights, a powered extending bellows for the fire, ect.
How do I get to these tool release web pages that Clint is showing? I search all over Ryobi's page and I cannot find it. Assuming it's a special site only for reviewers and influencers?
You have to be considered "media"
Yo Clint! In the specs of the 80v power source does it disclose the country of origin? I have 2 40v 300w power sources and they're both made in Vietnam. Which is fine by me. Also, aren't the type C end to end charge cords less popular than the type C to type A end to end charge cords? 🤷♂️
I've found that the Ryobi 80v power source is made in the USA. 🇺🇸👍
I'm curious if they have a 40v inverter...I would have been disappointed if you hadn't done that with the picture...I saw it coming this time!
The scissors are great, have weight and sharp I have a lot of scissors and the offset Ryobi are my new favorite pair
Only thing I would say would make it better is if it had a cord to keep it plugged in. So, sighted people wouldn’t have to go find in the dark. Also, so it could charge the batteries.
"We got scissors..."
As far as precision screwdrivers, why they don't make them ratcheting is beyond me. Husky makes the only budget-friendly ratcheting offering.
@8:15 you said you could charge your mower with it, but it's the reverse. You utilize all your mower batteries in this configuration, most ideal for continuous extended runtime.
I think the way they show it being used is silly. 80v power bank tank to power your 18v hybrid fan & charge a phone in one, or the one with the laptop, and he has a USB power brick, yet the inverter has 3 USB outlets
Wonder if you could charge the 80 volt battery to with solar
Hmmmm, I don't think so
Love your expressions Clint!😂😂😂
I feel like they were very powerful 😂😂
@@ToolReviewZone 😂🤣🤣
If the man can’t be happy tailgating with a cold beer in his hand, there’s no hope for him. 😂
I mean really! 😂
Needs a 12 volt outlet. My cpap can plug in to 12volt which because it dc draws less power. There's a little loss of power converting from DC to ac. Just sayin'. I laughed my ass off at your Pic update. Great job.
Appreciate the awesome comment, thanks surly 👊👊👊
I'm first And that's real nicelike 😊
That is definitely real nass like 81!!!!
Here's a second one for the algorithm! :)
You = awesomeness James!!!!
Solar charge pass through?
Don't look like it
Wow look at these high dollar prices coming up $900 huh for just the battery inverter what another three $400 what is the consumer supposed to expect of this Ryobi company in these high inflated prices I'm almost positive that there's no way that in materials it cost that much to make even after up cost it shouldn't even be nowhere near that it should be at least half somewhere around 4 to 500 but in any case it is what it is and thank you for the info by the way the face removal of the sad guy with the happy face of you made me laugh and laugh thank you for the laugh
What 80V snow blower????
I was just thinking out loud. What I meant to say is if they wanted to develop one they could. My bad 😪
@@ToolReviewZone You got my hopes up!!! I kept thinking you were gonna do a surprise review of the 80V snow blower at the end! lol all good though! Love you brother! Keep the Ram hot and the Dew cold!!!
@2down4up haha, thanks brother. Really appreciate you
Two issues with 80v. (Ignoring price)
A. It’s heavy, so not reasonable for very many tools.
B. It’s overkill for many things.
I agree with you. Even with the mowers, I still cannot figure out why they didn't just build it out as 40v x2 configuration. They even released the 12amp 40v batteries at the same time, which in an 80v x2 config actually have 2ah more than the single 80v pack. Heck, as of today, 2 12ah 40v batteries cost $800, and a single 80v 10ah costs $900. The 40v batteries, at this time, are infinitely more useful than these 80v batteries that only work for a couple things. This is one area where Ego had better ideas. They use their 56v batteries for everything.
He's not happy because he's a Milwaukee user😆
Lol
In the first photo, the guys facial expression make me think that he's upset that he didn't drive out far enough to lose mobile service, and his boss called him into work. Or, his PI sent him photos of his wife eating someone else's meat.
To bad they dont make it so you can use 2 40 volts batteries to get the 80 volts
hahahahah... you should be a comedian. LOL
Clint I think he’s constipated from all those cheese steaks and vegan cookies brother!!
To much cheese wiz is never a good thing brother
@@ToolReviewZone I know that’s right!!! Lol
Also if tool companies made strippers, I don't think I'm opting for the budget Ryobi version. 😂
Ryobi definitely has more tools. Makita may have more bar codes, but they dont have as many different tools. Makita says they have the most tools, but like 60 of them are drills so they really dont have as many different tools. I wouldnt be surprised if even dewalt had more different tools than makita. Kinda cheating saying they have the most tools when like a 1/4-1/3 are the same type of tool.
He’s mad because he’s 50% power away from being able to make a pot of coffee.
Needs 2000W continuous minimum.
The 80v system will not last. I see these mowers on clearance ALL the time and they don't move. People want a 40v tractor or zero turn. 2 12ah 40v batteries is more capacity and cheaper than a single 80v battery. The 40v 8 and 12ah batteries use samsung t40 21700 cells, where as the 80v batteries use 100 cheap eve cells. Also for the record. Both ryobi snow blowers use 40v batteries, but are 80v tools. They both require 2 batteries to be loaded in order to run, aka they run in series, doubling voltage, not ah. The same way they can make a 40v 30 in push mower by using 2 batteries in series.
The elephant in the room is ego with their 56v platform. Their riding mowers share batteries with their string trimmers and blowers, and with 6 12ah batteries, has notably more Wh than the ryobi 80v. Even the zero turn with the extra 12ah 40v batteries doesn't beat ego in terms of capacity. And the 80v batteries actually charge the 40v batteries, so you have more strain on the 80v's adding to their cycle count
Last couple years ryobi has become absolutely delusional in their pricing.
1st
He looks constipated not excited!!!
If you're out camping why in the hell do you have your phone or a generator ain't that the whole purpose of camping is getting away
Harbor Freight options are better than Ryobi.
Striper makes stripes with a long “I” as in like.
Stripper takes the insulation off wire with a short “I” as in with.
(I know you mostly mispronounce for effect, but I’m getting tired of it). Thinking of unsubscribing…
Speak English. It's not a batray.
Don't even know what you are saying right now
New tools but same garbage 🗑
You turned the Ryobi guy gay?
