This video documents the meeting and the great work between Marco Pierobon and the IMF Orchestracademy, directed for the first time by Gioele Uberti Foppa, in January 2024.
The orchestra brings together young musicians and teachers who come from different countries around the world as part of the IMF International Musical Friendship, an experience that has continued for over thirty years.
We sincerely thank Marco Pierobon who accepted the challenge of collaborating with our experience.

He plays the Arutunian very well! But, Trumpet 🎺 lovers need to hear Timofei Dokshitzer (1st to record this) to really capture the Russian Romanticism of the work! The Moscow Radio Orchestra was Perfect accompaniment! I fell in love with the Arutunian from this recording!- Michael McClary, Professor of Trumpet 🎺, Georgia Perimeter College and GSU ❤❤😢🎉
Marco has his own style and interpretation, and i like it👍. Yes, Timofey is great and unique in his style, and yet he always encouraged students to find their own interpretation as long as it's musicly reflecting meaningful passages...

Армянская музыка в исполнении Итальянца-гремучая смесь))) Все пережимает, утрирует, как и положено истинному Итальянцу!)
Исполнитель прекрасный, но трактовка мне не понравилась. Это армянская музыка о любви , страсти, томлении и грусти. А получилась торговля чебуреками на сочинском побережье.
Вступление кстати, очень даже хорошо с интерпретировал и сыграл, думал, дальше будет как у Т.Докшицера, но нет😢
