I have a question, if for example I push the bike uphill will the counter count the distance and elevation? I currently have a counter from another company and there is a problem with that. And can I turn off the countdown?
If you mean you don't want the data when you are not riding on a certain climb. The CS500 auto records data when you reach a certain speed. So if you are not reaching 3km/h the CS500 will pause recording.

As I see it doesn't have offline maps support. Is there a plan to add it in future firmware updates?

CS500 only supports route navigation. If you need complete map, you can wait for the next model.
